Connect an AWS S3 bucket
We never ask for your AWS keys. Instead, you'll create an IAM role
in your own AWS account that lets us read a specific bucket prefix — and only that
prefix. Revoke it any time from the AWS console.

Connect S3-compatible storage
Paste a read-only access key. This mode works for any S3-compatible
provider — Vultr, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, MinIO, or any private S3
gateway. Your secret is encrypted on our server with a per-server key and is never
logged or echoed back. Generate a scoped, read-only key in your provider's console
so access is bounded to the prefix you choose.

Generate a key in your provider's console scoped to read-only on this bucket/prefix. We encrypt it at rest; it never leaves our server in plaintext.
Connect Google Drive
Picker-scoped access. We request the narrowest Drive scope Google offers:
drive.file
— this means Whipscribe can only see the files or folders you explicitly pick
via Google's own picker. We never get access to your full Drive. Revoke anytime from
your Google account permissions page.
