The theory that aging is information loss was tested both ways: a slime-mold cutting enzyme that distracted sirtuins made mice 50% older by methylation clock, published in 2023 as evidence that information loss causes aging in mammals.
The reversal side was published on the cover of Nature in 2020 using three embryonic genes, OCT4, SOX2 and KLA4 (OSK), which reset age to about 75% and stop, and has since worked in monkey eyes, whole mouse brains, MS, kidney, liver, ALS and skin.
Two paths now run in parallel: the FDA route through Life Biosciences, which reaches the clinic next quarter with the eye and glaucoma, and a faster consumer route through Paradigm 88 with Serena as CEO, aimed first at skin and hair.
