Sindhu says it is not injections but a treatment that takes the frizz out, unlike keratin, which would make her hair very straight. The salon put on a weird-smelling product, applied heat for 45 minutes, and she could not get her hair wet for four days afterwards.

As a child her sister told her beer made you fat, and later her mother warned that, being tall, she must not put on weight so she could get married. Beer went on her list of things to avoid, she found it inelegant, and she drank liquor instead when she started drinking.

She drinks whiskey, particularly Japanese whiskey, and has gone back to neat vodka with ice because she drinks less of it than in doubles. She says it gives a great buzz without a hangover, and James and Ed mention Crystal Skull, the vodka of the podcast.

At a dinner party a powerful man who is always spiky with his wife mocked her for marrying a dull Scandinavian. After vodka tonics she told him at least she did not treat her spouse like shit; he walked out, the wife was upset and invitations dried up.

The Big John, Little John water would turn her into her eight-year-old self. At eight she had a terrible stammer, was bullied at the American school, was so scrawny her mother called her a beggar and had her hair cut square. She agrees only to wash her hair in it.

In India her mother banned processed potato chips and made homemade fried slices instead. Sindhu moved to the UK in 1991, discovered Walker's crisps and multipacks, and now her favourite flavour is salt and vinegar, so comparing 1990s and present-day kettle chips delights her.

She would want four and twenty owls, specifically miniature ones rather than Hogwarts-sized owls. She loves that owls act wise and confident, look at you seriously and turn their heads away when they dislike you, and she recounts her husband seeing a huge owl do this in India.

One host uses sliced potatoes with cream and milk infused with three garlic cloves, which are strained out before pouring the mixture over, plus a little gruyere on top that handles much of the salting. Sindhu adds that high quality butter also takes care of the salt, and she never adds chili.

If she is not binge-watching Netflix, she always finds a nail salon, since getting her nails done feels like buying a handbag but cheaper, or gets her hair done. She has usually stayed in Premier Inns but plans to avoid them on the Swanky tour because they can make you sad.

You have to guide your children and give them good values, then at some point try to see who they are and step back. She compares it to loading a program before sending them into the world, and says her three kids are all very different.
