Confidence score
A confidence score is the speech recognizer's own estimate of how likely each word or segment is correct, typically expressed between 0 and 1.
Confidence is useful for triage — highlighting low-confidence words for human review — but it is not a guarantee: models can be confidently wrong, especially on plausible-sounding substitutions. Treat it as a prioritization signal, not a proof.
