Podcast loudness target

The podcast loudness convention is approximately −16 LUFS integrated for stereo (−19 for mono) with a true-peak ceiling around −1 dBTP.

Conforming to the convention keeps episodes level with the rest of a listener's queue. Platforms increasingly normalize anyway, so the real sin is inconsistency between your own episodes and segments.
