Does my audio go to OpenAI or other AI providers?
No. Transcription runs on infrastructure we operate in our private cloud and secured environment. No third-party AI API sees your audio or your transcript.
Is my audio used to train models?
No. Not ours, not anyone's. Your audio exists to produce your transcript and for nothing else.
What happens when I delete a recording?
The audio file and its transcript are removed. We don't keep shadow copies for analytics or training.
Is the connection encrypted?
Yes — uploads and downloads travel over TLS, and your library requires your signed-in account.
Why not on-device transcription?
On-device models trade heavy accuracy losses and battery drain for locality. Our approach keeps Whisper-class accuracy while keeping your audio inside one private, secured environment — a deliberate middle path, stated plainly so you can choose.
