Proposal, final and capstone defenses · 1 to 2 hours

Put your thesis defense into text and fill the revision matrix from the panel's own words.

A 2-hour thesis defense recorded on a phone or in a video call comes back as searchable text in about 4 minutes, with each revision the panel asked for listed beside its timestamp. The first 20 minutes are free, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers four 2-hour defenses, so the whole group can share one.

Packs from $6, credits never expire · then from $0.36/hour · Credits never expire · Never used to train AI

For thesis and capstone groups

The panel says the revisions once. The recording keeps them, and the text lets you copy them exactly.

Every revision, word for word

When a panelist says to narrow the scope, add a respondent group or redo a table, that sentence sits in the transcript with the minute it was said. You copy it into the revision matrix instead of paraphrasing from memory, and the adviser can see that every comment was addressed.

Panelists named where it counts

The summary, key quotes and chapters name the panelists as they speak, so the matrix column for each panel member fills itself from the brief and the quotes.

Chapters that follow the defense

Presentation, questions on the methodology, questions on the results, deliberation outcome: chapters mark each part with its time, which makes a 2-hour file easy to move through.

Send it from wherever it sits

Paste the Google Drive link the group already shared, or drop the phone recording or meeting video on the upload page.

Why notes miss revisions

The member taking notes is also the one answering questions, so half the panel's comments go unwritten.

✗ Working from memory

After a defense the group compares notes, argues about what the adviser meant and replays the video in pieces. The matrix goes to the panel with comments reworded, and a panelist notices.

  • Notes written while defending the paper
  • Revisions remembered differently by each member
  • An hour of replay to find one comment
  • Panel questions in Filipino that notes skip
  • No exact wording for the matrix
  • A revision missed until the final check

✓ The same defense here

The panel's comments come back as text with their times, ready for the matrix.

  • A brief with the main points the panel raised
  • Each panelist's comments named in the quotes
  • Chapters for presentation, Q&A and verdict
  • The panel's questions gathered in one list
  • Four 2-hour defenses on the $6 pack
  • DOCX for the matrix and the adviser

00:41:12 Okay, sa chapter three, I suggest you narrow the respondents to one municipality lang. Masyadong malawak ang sample.
00:41:35 Noted po, ma'am. Ilalagay po namin ang justification sa scope and delimitation.
00:42:02 Also, the table on page 47, i-recompute ninyo ang weighted mean. Hindi tugma sa interpretation.
01:36:48 The panel has decided. The study is accepted with minor revisions, to be submitted within the time your adviser sets.
01:37:10 Thank you po. Ipapasa po namin ang revision matrix sa adviser.

FAQ

Thesis defense recordings, answered.

How long until a 2-hour defense is ready?

Roughly 4 minutes, since processing runs at about 2 minutes per hour of audio. A 90-minute proposal defense takes about 3.

What will our group pay?

A first-time account gets the first 20 minutes free, enough to check the panel is audible. One 2-hour defense uses 120 minutes, so the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers it with 380 minutes left, enough for the proposal defense and two more. All prices on this page are in US dollars, never pesos.

Our call video is over a gigabyte; can we still upload it whole?

A defense fits easily inside the per-file ceiling of 10 hours or 5 GB, whichever arrives first. Until your group buys its first pack, an upload can be up to 2 GB, and a heavier call video simply waits for that pack. No splitting is needed.

The panel switched between English, Filipino and Bisaya. Will it cope?

English and Filipino are detected automatically and switches between them inside one defense are handled; the English parts come back cleanly. Cebuano and other regional languages are supported as well, though those stretches are a fast first draft, so plan one review pass over them.

Can the transcript go into the manuscript's appendix?

Many groups use it as the source for the revision matrix and keep the DOCX on file. Check your college's format rules for what goes into the appendix, and read the quoted lines against the recording before you cite them.

Which files do we get, and is the recording private?

You get TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON, all with timestamps. Your defense is transcribed on our own servers and is never used for training, and you can delete it with its transcript at any time.
