Civil Engineering board exam · review lectures of 2 to 6 hours

Transcribe civil engineering review lectures and rebuild each solution from the text.

A 2-hour Civil Engineering board exam problem-solving block is transcribed in about 4 minutes, with a chapter per problem and the given values and formulas the lecturer read aloud listed with timestamps. Four blocks of that length fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes, and the first 20 minutes are free.

For civil engineering reviewees

Engineering review is mostly worked problems. What comes back is the lecturer's spoken reasoning, step by step.

Given values, read back to you

When the lecturer reads out a span, a load or a flow rate, the number lands in the list of figures with its timestamp, ready to check against your own solution.

A chapter per problem

Problem-solving sessions run one item after another. Chapters mark where each starts, so you can go straight to the hydraulics item you got wrong.

Spoken, not drawn

The transcript holds what was said. Diagrams and equations written on the board but never spoken stay in the video, so keep your screenshots next to the text.

Sessions by link or file

A session on YouTube or Google Drive goes in by link; a long downloaded video can go through the upload page.

Why pausing on each step fails

Copying a solution by pausing every few seconds makes a 2-hour block take four.

✗ Solving along with the video

Lecturers talk through the reasoning while writing, and the reasoning is the part notes leave out. Once the board is erased, the spoken explanation is all that is left.

  • Values copied wrong while the video plays
  • Reasoning lost between board steps
  • No way to search for a formula by name
  • Tagalog explanations of each step missing from notes
  • Hours of scrubbing for one problem
  • Long session videos refused by short limits

✓ The same block here

A searchable text of the spoken steps, organised by problem. Search for a formula's name and each problem that used it shows up with its time.

  • A chapter per problem
  • Given values with timestamps
  • The spoken reasoning, word for word
  • A brief of the methods the lecturer stressed
  • Four 2-hour blocks on the $6 pack
  • DOCX to keep beside your own solutions

00:04:10 Problem number three. A rectangular channel, 3 meters wide, carries a flow of 6 cubic meters per second.
00:04:35 So unahin natin ang velocity. Q equals A times V, kaya hanapin muna natin ang area.
00:05:02 Sir, ano po ang depth na gagamitin?
00:05:10 Given na 'yan, 1.5 meters. Kaya ang area ay 4.5 square meters.
01:48:30 Next session, structural design naman. Dalhin ninyo ang calculator ninyo.

FAQ

Civil engineering review lectures, answered.

How long does a 2-hour block take?

Around 4 minutes, at about 2 minutes per hour of audio; a 6-hour review day is ready in about 12.

What does a month of CE review cost?

Four 2-hour blocks are 480 minutes, inside the $6 pack of 500. Sixteen blocks in a month, 1,920 minutes, fit the $12 pack of 2,000. A season of twenty-four blocks, 2,880 minutes, is past the $12 pack, so it belongs on the $24 pack of 5,000.

How big can a session file be?

A file may be 10 hours or 5 GB, whichever comes first, with uploads up to 2 GB before your first pack. Audio alone is small: 128 kbps for 2 hours is 128,000 × 7,200 ÷ 8, about 115 MB. Keep each block as one file rather than splitting it.

Do I need permission to transcribe a recorded session?

Transcribe the sessions you are allowed to download and keep. A session that can only be streamed should stay that way unless the provider says otherwise.

What happens with Tagalog and regional languages?

English and Tagalog are detected automatically, and the switches between them in a session are handled. A lecturer who explains in Ilocano or Cebuano is supported too, but those passages are a fast first draft that needs one review pass.

What do I get back from a session, and who sees it?

A brief, chapters, the figures said aloud and a chat over the transcript, with TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON exports. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
