Electronics Engineering board exam · review days of 2 to 6 hours

Transcribe electronics engineering review lectures and keep each definition with its timestamp.

A 6-hour Electronics Engineering (ECE) board exam review day comes back as searchable text in about 12 minutes, with chapters per topic and the definitions and computed values the lecturer said aloud listed with timestamps. You get the first 20 minutes free, and one such day uses 360 minutes of the $6 pack of 500.

For ECE reviewees

Electronics review mixes theory you must define word for word with problems you must compute. The text keeps both.

Definitions in the lecturer's words

When a lecturer defines a term slowly and repeats it, that wording is often the one worth memorising. The transcript keeps it exactly as spoken, with the minute it was said.

A brief of what the day stressed

The brief sums up the thesis of each session and the points the lecturer kept returning to, which is the short list to read the night before a mock exam.

One chapter per block

Long review days run in blocks, for example communications in the morning and electronics in the afternoon. Chapters mark each block with a title and a time.

Questions you can ask the text

A chat over the transcript answers questions like where the lecturer explained the decibel, and it points to the exact passage.

Why notes are not enough

A 6-hour review day produces more spoken explanation than any notebook can hold.

✗ Studying from the class video

By the afternoon block your notes thin out, and the video is too long to replay. Definitions that were dictated in the morning blur together with the ones from last week, and nothing in the video can be searched. Reviewees end up rewatching whole blocks to recover one sentence they already heard.

  • Definitions paraphrased instead of kept word for word
  • Afternoon blocks with hardly any notes
  • Computed values copied with the wrong exponent
  • Taglish asides lost from the English notes
  • Class videos too big for small upload tools
  • No search across a whole review day

✓ The same review day here

Every block comes back as text in the lecturer's order, searchable by the term you remember, with each definition and value tied to the moment it was said.

  • Chapters for each block of the day
  • Definitions kept as spoken
  • Values and units with timestamps
  • A short brief of what the day stressed
  • One 6-hour day on the $6 pack
  • SRT and VTT to read along with the video

01:05:20 Sampling theorem. Isulat ninyo word for word: sample at least twice the highest frequency of the signal.
01:05:48 Sir, so kung 4 kHz ang highest frequency, 8 kHz po ang minimum sampling rate?
01:05:58 Exactly. 'Yan ang Nyquist rate. Lalabas 'yan sa problem solving mamaya.
01:06:30 Paano po kapag decibels na ang tanong?
04:12:05 A 3 dB increase is roughly double the power. Tandaan ninyo, power ratio 'yan, hindi voltage.

FAQ

ECE review lectures, answered.

How quickly is a full review day ready?

A 6-hour day takes about 12 minutes, at around 2 minutes per hour of audio, and a 3-hour block takes about 6. For a timed example, a 4.94-hour file finished in 372 seconds on our public proof page.

How many review days fit each pack?

One 6-hour day is 360 minutes, so the $6 pack of 500 covers it and leaves 140 minutes, enough for a 2-hour make-up session. Five 6-hour Saturdays, 1,800 minutes, fit the $12 pack of 2,000. Thirteen such days, 4,680 minutes, sit on the $24 pack of 5,000.

My review day video is over 5 GB. What now?

A video at 2 Mbps for 6 hours is 2,000,000 × 21,600 ÷ 8, about 5.4 GB, which is over the 5 GB limit per file. Save the audio as an MP3 instead: at 128 kbps the same 6 hours is about 346 MB. If the upload refuses the file, convert it to MP3 first, and the transcript is the same.

Is there a length limit per recording?

A file can run up to 10 hours or 5 GB, whichever comes first, so a full day goes in whole. Uploads before your first pack go up to 2 GB, and a larger file starts once a pack is on the account.

Does it handle Tagalog and regional languages?

Tagalog and English are detected without a setting, and a lecture that switches between them is handled in one pass. Ilocano, Hiligaynon, Waray and the other regional languages are supported; a passage in one of them is a fast first draft, so plan one review pass.

What can I export, and who sees the lectures?

Five formats, TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON, each timestamped. For review sessions you would rather keep to yourself: recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
