Transcribe your Apple Podcasts episodes from the files you manage in Connect.
A show you manage in Apple Podcasts Connect is transcribed from the master file you uploaded or from its public RSS feed, and a 90-minute episode is text in about 3 minutes. Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes, and credits never expire.
For creators
Connect is where you manage the show. Your own files are where the transcript starts.
Public episodes: the feed
For a free show delivered by RSS, the feed you submitted to Apple is a public address. Paste it here, choose the episode, and the audio is fetched on our side. The same feed works whether listeners find you on Apple, Spotify or anywhere else.
Subscriber episodes: your master
Episodes for paid subscribers are not on a public feed, so the source is the file you uploaded in Connect, still on your computer. Subscriber masters are often high-quality files such as WAV, so check the size: one upload can be up to 5 GB or 10 hours.
A year of bonus episodes
Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes, and credits never expire. There is no subscription on our side; the pack is paid once.
Show notes that write themselves
The brief gives you the thesis and takeaways, chapters come with timestamps, and the names, numbers and dates said on air are listed. Co-hosts and guests are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, which makes the episode description quick to draft.

Apple shows your show to listeners. It does not hand you the words.

FAQ
Apple Podcasts Connect: creator questions.
Can WhipScribe read my episodes straight from Connect?
No. There is no Apple integration and no login to your account. Paste your public RSS feed for free episodes, or upload the master file for subscriber episodes and anything not on a public feed.
My master is a big WAV. Will it upload?
A 90-minute 16-bit stereo WAV at 44.1 kHz is about 950 MB, inside the 5 GB one file can be. Longer WAVs can grow large, but they upload as they are up to 5 GB or 10 hours per file.
How quickly does an episode come back?
A 90-minute episode takes about 3 minutes, and a two-hour one about 4. The speed is roughly 2 minutes per audio hour, whatever the format.
What does a year of bonus episodes cost?
The opening minutes are a free preview. Forty-eight 90-minute bonuses are 4,320 minutes, on the $32 pack of 6,000. Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes, and credits never expire.
Can I use the text for Apple's own transcript display?
Apple generates its own listener transcripts for many shows; ours is for you to work with: show notes, a blog post, a subscriber PDF, or captions as SRT and VTT for a video version. Check Apple's current guidance before relying on any upload option there.
Who sees my subscriber audio?
Your files are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. You can delete any episode and its text at any time.
