From a YouTube link
Paste the address of a public YouTube video. WhipScribe fetches the audio and transcribes it; you do not download anything first. Podcast, Google Drive, Twitch and Kick links work the same way.
The text is a transcript of what is said in the video, not YouTube's automatic captions, so it does not depend on whether the channel turned captions on.
From a file
Drop an MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4, MOV or most other audio and video files onto the page. One file can be up to 10 hours and 5 GB.
What it costs
The summary of any recording is free to read. The full transcript opens with a minute pack: $4 / 500 minutes, $8 / 1,000 minutes, $12 / 2,000 minutes or $24 / 5,000 minutes, one-time. Credits never expire. Workspace is $19/month on the web app.
How to do it
- Open WhipScribe and paste the YouTube link, or drop the Indonesian audio or video file onto the upload box.
- Leave the language alone — Indonesian is detected from the audio.
- Read the summary, then open the full transcript with a pack.
- Export as SRT or VTT for subtitles, or TXT or DOCX for text.
