Free transcription no signup wall.
Most 'free' transcription lets you run the job and then asks for an email before it shows you the text. Here the free tier is 30 minutes a day, and the transcript appears whether or not you ever tell us who you are.
What you get
Free that doesn't mean 'free until it matters'.
The transcript isn't the paywall
The common pattern is to process the file, show a blurred preview, and ask for an email to reveal it. The text renders here as soon as the job finishes — reading it costs nothing and requires nothing.
Full quality, not a demo tier
Free jobs run the same engine as paid ones, with speaker diarization and word-level timestamps included. It isn't a smaller model, a watermarked output, or the first two minutes.
Resets daily, not once
30 minutes a day, every day — not a one-off trial allowance that runs out and never returns. For a weekly podcast or an occasional interview, that's often the whole workflow.
An account is worth it, not required
Signing up is free and adds 60 minutes plus a library that persists, download and copy on every transcript, and history you can come back to. It's an upgrade, not a toll gate.

FAQ
Free-tier questions, answered.
Do I really not need an account?
Correct — 30 minutes a day with no email, no card, and no account. The transcript renders in the browser when the job finishes and you can read it and listen alongside it immediately.
What's the catch?
The daily cap, and that downloading or copying the transcript is where a free account comes in. Signing up is free, takes a moment, and adds 60 minutes on top of the daily allowance.
Is the free output worse than paid?
No. Same engine, same speaker diarization, same word-level timestamps, no watermark and nothing truncated. Paid packs remove the daily cap and add priority queueing — they don't unlock a better model.
Does 30 minutes mean per file or per day?
Per day in total. That could be one 30-minute file or three ten-minute ones. The allowance resets daily rather than being a one-time trial.
What happens to my audio?
It's never used to train any model. We run Whisper on our own GPUs specifically so audio isn't handed to a third-party API, and anonymous jobs aren't retained as a personal history.
What if I need more than 30 minutes?
Minute packs: $8 for 1,000 minutes or $12 for 2,000 minutes. They're one-time purchases, not subscriptions, and the credits never expire.
