Speaker labels show up in the transcript view on the site. Of the downloads, only JSON carries them, so the TXT, DOCX, SRT and VTT files do not say who was speaking. For a multi-speaker panel where that matters inside the file, take the JSON.

No. Upload the video file as it is and the audio is taken from it. Once you hold credits a single file can run to 10 hours or 5 GB.
Which video links work?
YouTube links, podcast host links and Apple Podcasts episode links all fetch. Spotify, Podbean, Kick VOD and Zoom links will not, so those need uploading as files.
Will my video come back with subtitles burned in?
No. The video is never altered or re-encoded. You receive a transcript plus SRT and VTT caption files to attach in whatever editor or player you already use.
How much video is free?

Which download tells me who was speaking?
JSON. The site shows speaker labels while you read the transcript, and JSON is the only download that preserves them, so TXT, DOCX, SRT and VTT do not.
What happens to my video afterwards?
It is never used to train any model. Processing runs on our own infrastructure rather than being handed to a third-party AI service.
