Dictation
Dictation is speech recognition used as a writing tool: you speak, punctuation and formatting are inferred or spoken as commands, and text appears where you would otherwise type.
Modern dictation no longer needs per-user voice training. The remaining skill is on the speaker's side — dictating in phrases with intended punctuation in mind produces drafts that need remarkably little cleanup.
