Transcription for streamers before the VOD disappears.
A streamer can paste a Twitch or Kick VOD link and get a 4-hour stream back as text in about 8 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes of processing per audio hour. Sixteen 4-hour streams in a month is 3,840 minutes, which fits the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes, and a first-time visitor gets the first 20 minutes free.
From the VOD to the highlight list
Every hour of talk on stream, searchable after the broadcast ends.
What a stream leaves behind
Past broadcasts that run four, six or ten hours; subathon days; just-chatting sessions where the best stories happen; collabs with other streamers; and a local recording from your streaming software that may be better quality than the platform copy. Most platforms keep past broadcasts only for a limited time, so the transcript is often the record that lasts.
How the VOD gets here
Paste the VOD link from Twitch or Kick, or a YouTube live replay, and it is fetched for you. A local recording uploads here up to 500 MB and continues on upload page for anything bigger. One file runs up to 10 hours or 5 GB; a stream VOD over 6 hours starts once a pack is on the account.
What a streaming month costs
Four streams a week at four hours each is 16 streams and 3,840 minutes over four weeks. That belongs on the $24 pack of 5,000, leaving 1,160 minutes. A lighter schedule of two 3-hour streams a week is 1,440 minutes a month, which sits on the $12 pack of 2,000 with 560 to spare.
What comes back
A brief with what the stream was about and its takeaways, chapters with timestamps for each segment or game, the names, numbers and dates said on stream, and the questions chat asked that got answered. Co-streamers are named in the summary and key quotes. Search the text for a word to find the clip, then cut it from the VOD.
Why rewatching does not scale
Nobody, including you, rewatches a nine-hour VOD to find one line.
✗ The VOD alone
Hours of stream that only exist as video, until the platform deletes the past broadcast.
- Clips found by scrubbing at 2x speed
- A story you told on stream, with no time to find it
- Editors asking for 'the bit about the sponsor'
- No text for search engines or a blog
- Past broadcasts expiring before anyone used them
- Stream recap posts written from memory
✓ The stream as text
Read it, search it and pull the moments out while the VOD is still up.
- A 4-hour VOD readable after about 8 minutes
- Chapters that mark each game or segment
- Clip moments found by keyword
- A recap post drafted from the brief
- SRT for the highlight video
- A text record that outlasts the VOD

FAQ
Questions from streamers.
My VOD is longer than 6 hours. Can I still paste the link?
Yes. Stream recordings over 6 hours start once a pack is on the account; shorter ones start straight away, with the first 20 minutes free for a first-time visitor. Each VOD can run up to 10 hours.
What about a subathon longer than 10 hours?
A file or link can be at most 10 hours, so a 14-hour day needs two pieces. Download the VOD or use your local recording, split it into two files of about 7 hours each in any video tool, and upload both. They come back as two transcripts with their own timestamps.
Will game audio and music show up in the text?
No. Game sound, music, alerts and crowd noise are not transcribed; your voice and your guests' voices are. Loud game audio over your mic can hide words, so a separate mic track from your streaming software gives the cleanest result if you record one.
How do I turn the transcript into clips?
Search the text for the word or topic, note the timestamp, and cut that moment from the VOD in your editor. Timestamps count from the start of the VOD, so if the platform trimmed the start or you uploaded a trimmed file, the times shift by that amount; check one before cutting a batch.
Does a link from YouTube Live work too?
Yes, a YouTube live replay is fetched once the stream has ended. Vimeo links and Google Drive share links also work. Platforms not on that list need the recording downloaded and uploaded as a file.
Can I export captions for a highlight video?
Every stream exports as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. For a short highlight cut, transcribe the edited highlight file itself so the caption timing matches it.
