One hearing block

Testimony you can search at the lunch break.

A working copy, said once

What comes back is an AI transcript for preparing cross-examination, checking an answer and drafting submissions. It is not a certified or official transcript, it does not replace a stenographer where the tribunal requires one, and it is not legal advice.

Each witness becomes a chapter

A 2-hour block often holds one witness from direct through re-examination, or the opening statements of both sides. The chapters follow those turns, each with a start time, and the arbitrator, counsel and the witness are named in the summary, the key quotes and the chapters.

Hearing room or video platform

In-person hearings are often captured on a room recorder as MP3 or WAV; virtual hearings arrive as an MP4 or an audio track from the meeting platform. Upload either in the box above or on upload page. If the recording was shared as a Google Drive link, paste the link and nothing needs downloading.

Figures and exhibits, listed

The brief collects the amounts, dates, exhibit references and names said in the room, each with the minute it was spoken. Questions the testimony answered are listed too, and the chat over the transcript finds a passage when you only remember what it was about. That is useful when the closing submissions refer back to an answer given hours earlier.

Why hearing notes fall behind

Between sessions, there is rarely time to listen to the morning again.

✗ Notes against the clock

Juniors take notes during the hearing and hope nothing important slipped by.

  • Answers paraphrased instead of quoted
  • An exhibit reference written down wrong
  • Two hours of audio to scrub for one reply
  • Overnight turnaround when the next session is at two
  • Upload limits that reject a long video
  • No timestamps to go back to the recording

✓ Notes from the transcript

The block is text within minutes, timed to the recording.

  • Testimony as text within about 4 minutes
  • A chapter for every witness and submission
  • Amounts and dates pulled into the brief
  • Search across all of it at once
  • Uploads up to 5 GB before any pack
  • Five exports, DOCX among them

FAQ

2-hour arbitration hearings, the common questions.

How fast is a 2-hour hearing transcribed?

Plan on about 4 minutes. That is short enough to have the morning's testimony as text before the afternoon session begins.

What does a full hearing cost?

One 2-hour block uses 120 of the 300 minutes on the $4 pack. A longer hearing belongs on the $32 pack of 6,000.

Can the transcript go to the tribunal as the official record?

No. Use it as a working copy for your team. Where the tribunal orders an official transcript, that comes from the reporter it appoints.

What file size can I upload?

Up to 5 GB per file, before a pack and once one is on the account. Two hours of audio is around 115 MB; a recorded video hearing is often a few hundred megabytes.

What if the hearing switches between languages?

Language detection is automatic across 99 languages, keyed to the language spoken most in the hearing. Where a witness testified through an interpreter, check the passages in the second language against the audio.

Is the recording kept private?

Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. Delete the file and transcript whenever the matter no longer needs them.
