Transcribe a 2-hour radio show and keep the talk, not the playlist.
A 2-hour radio show is 120 minutes of audio and turns into searchable text in about 4 minutes. The $6 pack of 500 minutes covers four full shows, and the first 20 minutes of the first one are free.
For presenters, producers and station archivists
A two-hour show is half music and half talk. The text keeps the half you need.
A show summary for the website
The brief gives the topics covered and what each guest said that stood out, ready to adapt into the show notes posted after the broadcast.
Segments become chapters
News on the hour, the interview, the phone-in, the closing chat. Chapters mark each segment with a title and time, which also works as a running order for the archive.
Songs are not transcribed
Music, jingles and sound effects are left out, and the speech between and over them is kept. Back-announcements and links come through as text.
A whole season from its feed
If the show goes out as a podcast, paste the RSS feed and pick the episodes, or upload a long archive file through the upload page.
Why archives stay unsearchable
Radio is made to be heard once. An archive nobody can search is an archive nobody uses.
✗ A shelf of audio files
Most stations keep years of shows as audio and nothing else. Finding the week a guest talked about a local story means guessing a date and listening.
- Shows filed by date, not by subject
- Interviews no one can quote without replaying
- Show notes written from memory
- Music that confuses generic transcription tools
- Tools that stop at an hour
- No captions when the show is posted as video
✓ The same show here
Each show comes back as text you can search, with its structure already drawn out.
- Full text of the talk in about 4 minutes
- Presenter and guests named in the summary and quotes
- Chapters for each segment
- Places, names and dates said on air, listed
- SRT and VTT captions
- Four shows on one $6 pack

FAQ
Two-hour radio shows, answered.
How long until a 2-hour show is text?
About 4 minutes. A batch of shows can be queued together and each one finishes on its own clock.
What does it cost to transcribe a run of shows?
Each 2-hour show uses 120 minutes, so the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers four of them. A run of sixteen shows, 1,920 minutes, fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes, and an archive of forty shows, 4,800 minutes, fits the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes.
Will the songs be typed out as lyrics?
No. Music, sound effects and crowd noise are not transcribed; the speech is. A presenter talking over the intro of a song is usually captured, though heavy music under the voice can cost a few words.
Can I upload a whole morning of logger audio?
Yes, as long as the file is within 10 hours or 5 GB. Before your first pack, files over 2 GB wait until a pack is on the account. A full broadcast day longer than 10 hours goes in as two files.
Do non-English shows work?
Ninety-nine languages are detected without settings. A show that moves between English and Tagalog is handled. Regional Philippine languages such as Cebuano or Ilocano are supported as a fast first draft, so plan one review pass on those.
Which exports do I get, and is the archive private?
TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON, all included with the transcript. Your archive stays yours: recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
