For litigators, paralegals and court reporters

A trial day is long and uneven. The text gives it an index on the evening it ends.

Tonight's summary of the day

The brief lays out what happened in the courtroom and which points each side pressed, so preparation for tomorrow starts from the day as a whole rather than from scattered notes.

One chapter per witness

Examination in chief, cross-examination, re-examination, then the next witness. Chapters follow those changes, so the afternoon's key testimony is a click rather than a search.

Dates and amounts with their moment

The figures, dates and exhibit numbers said aloud are listed with timestamps, so a contradiction between two witnesses can be traced to the exact second of each answer.

A morning and an afternoon file

If the recorder split the day at lunch, upload both parts through the upload page; each one carries its own chapters and timestamps.

Why notes from the day fall short

An eight-hour day in court leaves you with fragments. The official transcript may be weeks away.

✗ The day as you remember it

Counsel take notes while thinking about the next question, and the most important answer of the day is often the one nobody had time to write down word for word.

  • Handwritten notes that stop mid-answer
  • An official transcript that can take weeks
  • A recording too long to replay before tomorrow
  • No quick way to find when an exhibit was raised
  • Witness names spread over hours of audio
  • Services that charge by the page for a full day

✓ The same day here

Upload the recording after court rises and work from the text that evening.

  • Full text with timestamps in about 16 minutes
  • Judge, counsel and witnesses named in the summary and chapters
  • Chapters per witness and per submission
  • Exhibit numbers and dates with their times
  • Search for a single phrase across the day
  • 480 minutes, inside the $6 pack

06:12:40 You told the court this morning that you left the office at six. Is that still your evidence?
06:12:49 Yes. Around six, maybe a few minutes after.
06:12:55 I would like the witness shown exhibit fourteen, the building's sign-out log for that evening.
06:13:30 That is the log, yes. I do not remember signing it at seven.
06:13:38 Counsel, keep the question short, please. The witness has answered.

FAQ

Full court days, answered.

How long does a full day take to process?

Around 16 minutes for eight hours of audio, at about 2 minutes per audio hour. A day that runs to 10 hours still fits in one file and finishes in roughly 20 minutes.

What does a trial cost to transcribe day by day?

One 8-hour day uses 480 minutes, which the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers. A four-day hearing is 1,920 minutes and fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. A five-day trial week of 2,400 minutes, or a two-week trial, belongs on the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes.

Is this a certified transcript I can file?

No. It is an AI transcript with timestamps for working from: not a certified court transcript, not a substitute for a court reporter, and not legal advice. Use it to prepare, then rely on the official record for anything you file.

The day's file is very large. Will it go through?

One file runs up to 10 hours or 5 GB, whichever comes first. Before the first pack, uploads go up to 2 GB, and a larger day starts once a pack is on the account. A day longer than 10 hours goes up as two files.

Can it handle an interpreter or a second language?

Automatic detection covers 99 languages. The recording is detected on its main language, so if an interpreter repeats each answer in another language, read those passages against the audio once.

Which exports are there, and who can see the recording?

Five formats: TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON, each with timestamps. Court audio can be sensitive. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and each one can be deleted with its transcript when the matter closes.
