Transcribe bagrut tutoring recordings and revise from text.
A one or two hour bagrut tutoring lesson recorded by a student in Israel transcribes in about 2 to 4 minutes, with Hebrew detected automatically. The first 20 minutes are free, four two-hour lessons fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes, and fifteen weekly two-hour lessons, 1,800 minutes, fit the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes.
Before the matriculation exam
The tutor explained it once. The recording lets you hear it again; the text lets you find it.
Record with the tutor's agreement
Ask the tutor before recording, then keep the phone on the table near both of you, screen down, with notifications silenced. A lesson recorded with permission is yours to transcribe and revise from, and many tutors are glad to have students review rather than repeat the same question.
Every exercise, findable
Chapters start where a new exercise or topic begins, so revising the night before means opening the right chapter rather than scrolling through two hours.
A term of lessons, counted
Fifteen weekly lessons of two hours are 30 hours, or 1,800 minutes. The $12 pack of 2,000 minutes covers them for about $0.36 an hour of tutoring.
English lessons too
A tutoring session for the English exam that moves between Hebrew explanations and English reading is detected on its main language, and the switches are handled.
Why lesson recordings do not get used
Students record every lesson and then never have time to listen. By the week of the exam there are thirty files on the phone and no idea which one holds the explanation that finally made sense.
✗ Recordings on the phone
The lessons are saved, and revision still starts from scattered notes.
- Two hours of audio per lesson
- Notes that miss the step the tutor stressed
- No way to find one exercise in a term
- Mental arithmetic said aloud and forgotten
- Lessons that blur together before the exam
- Phone storage full of untitled files
✓ Lessons as revision notes
Each lesson becomes a document you can read on the bus.
- About 2 minutes per hour of lesson
- Hebrew detected, nothing to configure
- Chapters at each exercise
- Formulas, numbers and dates in the brief
- Chat to ask how a type of question is solved
- DOCX to print and write on

FAQ
Bagrut tutoring recordings: common questions.
How long does a two-hour lesson take?
A two-hour lesson is ready in around 4 minutes and a one-hour lesson in around 2, since processing runs near 2 minutes per hour. Upload on the way home and the notes are waiting before you sit down to homework.
What does a term of lessons cost?
One two-hour lesson is 120 minutes, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes holds four. Fifteen weekly two-hour lessons are 1,800 minutes on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. Twice-weekly lessons of 90 minutes over twelve weeks come to 2,160 minutes and need the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes. Each pack is charged once in US dollars.
Will a phone recording upload?
Yes. One file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB, and before a pack is on the account uploads up to 2 GB are accepted. An hour of phone audio at 128 kilobits a second is about 58 MB. Should the upload refuse an unusual phone format, convert it to MP3 first and upload that.
Which languages work?
Hebrew is detected automatically, among 99 languages, and so are English and Arabic. A lesson that mixes Hebrew and English is detected on its main language and the switches are handled.
Is the transcript the tutor's material to share?
The transcript is for your own revision. If you want to pass it to classmates, ask the tutor first, the same as with the recording.
What can I export, and is the lesson private?
Lessons export as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON, and the DOCX prints well as a revision sheet. Lesson recordings are processed on our own servers, never used for training, and you can delete them after the exam.
