Transcribe a Bisaya barangay session and draft the minutes from the brief.
A Bisaya (Cebuano) barangay or municipal session becomes text at about 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a four-hour session is ready in about 8 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and a $6 pack of 500 minutes covers the rest of that session and most of the next one. Bisaya debate comes back as a fast first draft for the secretary to check once, while motions read in English come back clean.
From session to minutes
Hours of council talk, reduced to what was moved and decided.
A session runs long
Regular sessions open with the roll call and prayer, then work through reports, ordinances and the questions from the floor, often for three hours or more. One file can hold up to 10 hours, so the whole sitting goes in as recorded, with one clock from roll call to adjournment.
What the secretary needs
The brief lists what was moved, who seconded, the amounts and dates mentioned and the items deferred. Each member who spoke is named in the summary, key quotes and chapters. The secretary writes the minutes from that and checks each motion against its timestamp.
Bisaya in the hall, English on paper
Members debate in Bisaya, read resolutions in English and slip into Tagalog when quoting a national office. The main language is detected without a setting and each passage keeps its own language. The Cebuano debate is the part to read against the audio once.
Cost per sitting
A four-hour session uses 240 minutes, so a $6 pack of 500 covers two sittings with room to spare. A year of two monthly sessions of that length is about 5,760 minutes, which is a $24 pack of 5,000 and a smaller top-up.
Why minutes fall behind
A four-hour sitting can take the secretary a week to write up.
✗ Writing from notes
Handwritten notes catch the motion but not the reasons, and replaying a four-hour file to find one amount takes an afternoon.
- Notes that miss who seconded
- Amounts heard once and misremembered
- Scrubbing a phone video for one motion
- Typing four hours of Bisaya by hand
- Minutes approved a month late
- No copy anyone can search
✓ Writing from the brief
Upload the recording after adjournment and start the minutes from a list of motions with timestamps.
- Roll call to adjournment in about 8 minutes
- Motions, seconders and votes in the brief
- Peso amounts and dates pulled out
- Chapters per agenda item
- Cebuano debate marked for one review
- DOCX for the minutes book

FAQ
Barangay and LGU sessions, answered.
How long does a four-hour session take to transcribe?
About 8 minutes at roughly 2 minutes per audio hour. A three-hour sitting is ready in about 6. You can leave the page and return to it in your Library.
What does one session cost?
A four-hour session is 240 minutes. The $6 pack holds 500, so it covers two sessions of that length. A first-time visitor gets the first 20 minutes free, and a pack transcribes the rest from where that preview ended.
The phone video is huge. Will it upload?
Before your first pack, files up to 2 GB upload; a larger file starts once a pack is on the account, up to 5 GB. Four hours of phone video can pass 2 GB, while the audio alone is far smaller. A session longer than 10 hours goes in as two files.
Will the Bisaya debate be accurate?
Cebuano is supported, and its accuracy is lower than for English or Tagalog. Use the transcript as a fast first draft and give it one review pass, with extra care on names of sitios, family names and figures read aloud. The English motions and resolutions come back clean.
Does the transcript replace the secretary's minutes?
It is an AI transcript with timestamps to write the minutes from, not an official record by itself. The secretary still writes, checks and signs the minutes as usual.
What can the secretary export, and who sees the file?
Every session exports as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and a session can be deleted with its transcript at any time.
