Transcribe a long Opus file from a voice chat or call.
A long Opus file from Telegram, Discord or a voice app transcribes as one upload: a 3-hour session is usually under 50 MB and comes back in about 6 minutes. One file can run up to 10 hours, the first 20 minutes are free, and a $6 pack of 500 minutes covers the rest of a session up to about eight hours.
The voice codec of chat apps
Hours of group voice, turned into notes you can search.
Where Opus files come from
Opus is the codec behind Discord voice channels and Telegram voice messages, and several voice and call apps save their recordings with it. The file may end in .opus, .ogg or .oga; all three are the same kind of audio.
Small at any length
Opus tuned for speech runs at 16 to 64 kbps, which is about 7 to 30 MB per hour. A 10-hour Opus file is well under half a gigabyte, so for this format the per-file limit is 10 hours rather than the 5 GB size line.
Group calls, sorted out
A three-hour voice channel has many people talking over each other. The summary, key quotes and chapters name the speakers, so you can see who argued for what without replaying the whole session.
Before you convert anything
Upload the file as you have it. If the upload refuses the file, convert it to MP3 first with VLC or Audacity and send that copy, and if a recording tool split one night into several files, join them or upload each part.
Before / after
Voice-chat recordings rarely get read back.
✗ Hours nobody replays
Long Opus recordings pile up because finding one decision means scrubbing through a whole evening.
- .opus missing from a tool's format list
- A file picker that hides .oga entirely
- Free tiers that stop after 30 minutes
- Replaying three hours for a single ruling
- Overlapping voices with no names attached
- Notes that drift from the real timestamps
✓ The session, as text
Upload the Opus file and get the whole evening back as a document with chapters.
- An Opus file of up to 10 hours in one go
- Three hours ready in about 6 minutes
- Speakers named in summary, quotes and chapters
- Chapters for each topic the group covered
- Three hours uses 180 minutes of a $6 pack
- SRT and VTT for a video edit, TXT for notes

FAQ
Long Opus questions.
How long does a 3-hour Opus file take?
About 6 minutes after upload, since processing runs near 2 minutes per hour of audio. The upload is quick too, because a 3-hour Opus file is usually tens of megabytes.
What does a long Opus recording cost?
A 3-hour session is 180 minutes, which leaves 320 on the $6 pack (500 minutes). A full 10-hour recording is 600 minutes and goes on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. New visitors have their first 20 minutes free.
Do .ogg and .oga files work the same as .opus?
They are the same audio in a different wrapper, so try whichever you have. If the upload refuses the file, convert it to MP3 first and send the copy. The minutes counted are the length of the speech, not the file type.
The voice chat went past 10 hours. Now what?
Split it at a break into two files and upload both. Size will not stop you: Opus voice audio stays far below the 2 GB that uploads before a pack.
Which languages are supported?
99, detected automatically per recording. A voice chat that moves between English and Tagalog in one evening is handled as it was spoken.
What do I get back, and who can see it?
A transcript with a brief, chapters and quotes, downloadable as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Voice files are transcribed on our own servers and never used for training, and you can delete them at any time.
