Transcribe long Podbbang episodes from the feed or the MP3.
A Podbbang episode transcribes from its podcast feed link or from the episode file, usually an MP3, at about 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 2.5-hour Korean episode comes back in about 5 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and that 150-minute episode fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes with room for two more.
From Podbbang to text
The episode already exists as a file. It only needs to become text.
Two ways in
Most podcasts published through a host carry an RSS feed, and a feed link pastes straight into the box: pick the episode and nothing has to upload. If you host the show, the master you exported before publishing is the cleanest copy of all. Episode files on podcast platforms are usually MP3; check what your editor exported if yours differs.
A long episode stays small
At 128 kbps, an hour of MP3 is 57.6 MB, so a 2.5-hour episode weighs about 144 MB and a 3-hour one near 173 MB. Both sit far under the 2 GB that uploads before a first pack, and a single file can run to 10 hours.
The back catalogue, priced
A single 2.5-hour episode uses 150 minutes. Forty episodes of 90 minutes come to 3,600 minutes, which fits the $24 pack of 5,000, so a whole archive becomes searchable in one purchase. A weekly 2-hour show, about 520 minutes a month, goes on the $12 pack of 2,000.
What listeners and editors get
Show notes start from the brief and the chapters with timestamps, and hosts and guests are named in the summary and key quotes. Quote a guest word for word, search the archive for a segment from last year, or add SRT subtitles when the episode is re-cut as video.

FAQ
Podbbang episodes, the usual questions.
Can I paste a Podbbang link?
Paste the show's podcast RSS feed when it has one, then choose the episode; feed links need no upload. If you only have an episode page link and it is refused, download the episode or use your own master and upload that. There is no Podbbang integration behind any of this.
How long does a 2.5-hour episode take?
Close to 5 minutes, since processing runs near 2 minutes per audio hour. The proof page records 9.31 hours finished in 1,033 seconds.
What does a back catalogue cost?
A first visit includes 20 free minutes. One 2.5-hour episode takes 150 minutes out of the $6 pack, and forty 90-minute episodes, 3,600 minutes, go on the $24 pack. Minutes never expire, so the remainder waits for new episodes.
The hosts mix English words into Korean. Is that a problem?
No. Korean is detected automatically, and English terms said inside Korean speech are handled. An episode that switches language for a whole segment is detected on its main language.
Is the intro music transcribed?
Music, jingles and sound effects are left out; only the speech is transcribed. Ads read by the host are speech, so they appear, and the chapters make them easy to skip.
Who can see the episodes?
Episodes are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. Upload shows you host or have the right to use; each one exports to TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON.
