Transcribe Naver Audioclip episodes from the creator's own files.
Naver Audioclip episodes transcribe from the original files the creator uploaded, at about 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 6-hour Korean series comes back in about 12 minutes, with up to 10 hours or 5 GB per file. The first 20 minutes are free, and twenty 40-minute episodes (800 minutes) fit the $12 pack of 2,000.
From Audioclip to text
Every episode began as a file on your computer. Start there.
Start from your originals
Audioclip is made for listening, so the cleanest source is the file you uploaded in the first place: the export from your editor or recorder, usually an MP3 or a WAV. If you no longer have it, check what your creator tools let you download; copies captured on the listener side are not the route. Each episode uploads as its own file.
WAV versus MP3
A 16-bit stereo WAV at 44.1 kHz runs about 635 MB an hour (1,411,200 bits a second × 3,600 ÷ 8), so a 6-hour audiobook in WAV is around 3.8 GB: under the 5 GB ceiling, over the 2 GB that uploads before a first pack. The same 6 hours as 128 kbps MP3 is roughly 346 MB.
Pricing a channel
A 6-hour series is 360 minutes and fits the $6 pack of 500. Twenty episodes of 40 minutes total 800 minutes, more than 500, so they go on the $12 pack of 2,000 with 1,200 minutes left for the next season. Packs are paid once and the minutes do not run out with time.
What a creator does with the text
Episode descriptions start from the brief; chapters with timestamps become a table of contents for a long series; names, titles and dates read aloud are listed. Turn an episode into a blog post, check a line before reusing it, or publish a script alongside the audio.
Audio-first channels
A channel full of Korean audio, and not one line of it in text.
✗ Audio with no script
The words exist only inside the recordings.
- Episode descriptions rewritten by ear
- Scripts lost once the take was recorded
- No search across a whole series
- Whisper API uploads stopped at 25 MB per file
- WAV masters too heavy for most tools
- Chapter points marked by hand
✓ Audio with its text
Each master becomes a transcript you can reuse.
- About 12 minutes for 6 hours
- A 6-hour WAV still under 5 GB
- 800 minutes of episodes in one pack
- Korean found without a setting
- A contents page from timestamped chapters
- DOCX for a script, SRT for video

FAQ
Naver Audioclip, the common questions.
Can WhipScribe pull audio from Naver Audioclip?
No. There is no Audioclip integration and nothing is fetched from the platform. Upload the episode files you made, or paste a Google Drive share link to the folder where you keep them.
How quickly does a 6-hour series come back?
In about 12 minutes, at a pace near 2 minutes per hour of audio. The public proof page shows 9.31 hours completed in 1,033 seconds.
What does a season cost?
Twenty minutes are free on a first visit. A single 6-hour series uses 360 of the 500 minutes in a $6 pack, and twenty 40-minute episodes, 800 minutes, take the $12 pack. Prices are USD, paid once, with no subscription.
My WAV master is 3.8 GB. Will it upload?
A file may be up to 5 GB and 10 hours. Before a first pack, uploads stop at 2 GB, and a larger file starts once a pack is on the account; converting it to MP3 first makes it a tenth of the size.
Does it handle Korean with English titles and terms?
Yes. Korean is detected automatically and English words inside Korean speech are handled. Background music and sound effects are not transcribed; the narration is.
What happens to my audio?
Audio is transcribed on our own servers and is never used for training. Exports are TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON, so the text can return to your scripts or subtitles.
