Every public show has an RSS feed that podcast apps read, and RedCircle usually shows its address in the show's distribution settings. Paste it here and choose the episode; the audio is fetched on our side. If you already have the MP3 on your computer, upload that instead.
How big an episode file is
A spoken-word MP3 at 64 kbps mono runs about 29 MB an hour, so even a 150-minute episode is well under 100 MB. At higher bitrates it grows, but a long episode rarely nears the 2 GB that uploads before a pack, let alone the 5 GB or 10 hours allowed per file.
A back catalogue, priced

Do I need to download the episode?
No. Paste the show's RSS feed and choose the episode, and the audio is fetched on our side. An episode that is not yet public goes in as an uploaded MP3. If a feed lists hundreds of episodes, start with the most played ones and work back; each transcript stays listed under your account.
How long does a long episode take?
Close to 2 minutes per hour of audio, so 150 minutes takes about 5. The proof page at /proof/long-files shows a 9.31-hour file finished in 1,033 seconds. A video version of the same episode works too, as an MP4 upload, and gives the same text.
What does a back catalogue cost?
Eighty-five 55-minute episodes, 4,675 minutes, fit the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes. One episode fits the $6 pack of 500. A first visit gets the first 20 minutes free. Prices are in US dollars, charged once per pack, with no subscription behind them.
Is there a RedCircle integration?
No integration, sign-in or app. We read the public feed or the file you upload, and nothing in your RedCircle account changes.
Can a premium or private episode be transcribed?
Yes, as a file. A feed or episode behind a login cannot be fetched, so upload the MP3 you published.
Which languages, exports and privacy?
Any of 99 languages, detected automatically; a bilingual show is read on its main language. Exports are TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Shows are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
