Supplier calls · partner reviews · 1 to 3 hour meetings

Transcribe a Mandarin business meeting so the numbers agreed on the call are in writing.

A 90-minute Mandarin business meeting recorded in the United States comes back as text in about 3 minutes, with Mandarin detected automatically and English terms such as SKU, MOQ or FOB kept as spoken. Four weekly calls of that length are 360 minutes, inside the $6 pack of 500 minutes, after the first 20 minutes free.

For the person who owns the follow-up

The factory said one thing about lead time at minute 40 and another at minute 70. The transcript shows both.

Figures, pulled out

Unit prices, order quantities, percentages, ship dates and payment terms said during the meeting are collected in one list with timestamps, so the follow-up email quotes the call, not someone's recollection.

A brief your manager reads

The brief states what the meeting was for, what was decided and what each side agreed to do next. A colleague who does not read Chinese gets the outline from the English summary while the full text stays in Mandarin.

Long sessions in one file

A quarterly review that ran 3 hours is one upload and about 6 minutes of processing. One file may be up to 10 hours or 5 GB; past 10 hours, upload it as two files.

Recorded afterwards, not live

Nothing joins your meeting. Record it in Zoom, Teams or on a phone as you already do, then send the file from upload page or paste a Google Drive share link.

Why calls get re-litigated

A bilingual meeting, one note-taker, and a disagreement two weeks later about what was promised.

✗ Notes typed during the call

One person translates in their head, types fragments, and loses the thread every time the conversation speeds up.

  • Price changes buried in a 90-minute file
  • Notes in English that miss the Mandarin wording
  • No chapter to jump to the shipping discussion
  • Recordings kept but never opened
  • Meeting tools that need a bot in the room
  • Per-seat software for a few calls a month

✓ A transcript after every call

Drop the cloud recording in when the call ends and the Mandarin text, chapters and figures arrive while the details are still fresh.

  • Full Mandarin text in about 3 minutes
  • Chapters for pricing, samples and logistics
  • Numbers and dates listed with times
  • Participants named in the summary
  • Chat to check what was promised
  • One-time packs, no seats

Sample output

A supplier call, at the part about lead time.

Invented lines for illustration only; no real company is quoted. Gloss: "Let's confirm the quantities for this order first"; "If the MOQ is two thousand, the unit price can drop a bit"; "Lead time is about thirty-five days"; "Send the samples before the end of the month"; "I'll put the action items in the follow-up email."

FAQ

Mandarin business meetings, answered.

How fast is a Mandarin meeting transcribed?

About 2 minutes per hour of audio: a 90-minute call takes roughly 3 minutes and a 3-hour quarterly review about 6. The cloud recording usually takes longer to download from Zoom than the transcript takes to arrive.

What do regular calls cost?

Four 90-minute calls a month are 360 minutes on the $6 pack of 500 minutes. A quarter of weekly calls, thirteen of them at 1,170 minutes, fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes, and a team running several calls a week can take the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes. For a team that records every week, a $19/month Workspace exists as well.

Our meetings mix Mandarin and English. Will both appear?

Yes. The recording is detected on its main language, and English product names, acronyms and whole sentences said in English are handled in the same transcript. Nobody picks a language from a menu.

Does anything join our meeting?

No. There is no bot and no live connection. You record the meeting the way you already do and upload the file afterwards, or paste a Google Drive share link to it.

Does the transcript show which person said each line?

Speakers are identified and named in the summary, the key quotes and the chapters; the transcript itself reads as continuous text with timestamps. For a two-sided call that is usually enough to see which side proposed what.

Is a confidential call safe to upload?

Call recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. You download TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON and keep the copies where your company keeps its records.
