Transcribe a Tagalog thesis interview verbatim, ready for the appendix.

A 90-minute thesis interview in Tagalog or Taglish is transcribed in about 3 minutes, as the respondent said it, with a timestamp on each line for citing quotes. A short interview fits inside the first 20 minutes free and is transcribed in full, and five 90-minute interviews fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes.

Packs from $6, credits never expire · then from $0.36/hour · Credits never expire · Never used to train AI

For thesis writers

Your panel wants the transcript in the appendix. Your analysis needs the same text in a form you can code.

Verbatim, in the language used

A respondent who answers in Taglish is transcribed in Taglish. The text is not translated or smoothed, which is what a qualitative appendix expects.

Quotes you can cite

Key quotes are pulled out with the speaker named and the timestamp. Copy them into your results chapter and the time lets your adviser check them against the audio.

The questions, already sorted

The brief lists the questions the interview answers, which is a head start on your themes before you begin coding.

All your interviews at once

Keep the recordings in one Google Drive folder and paste its link. A long video call recorded on a laptop can go through the upload page.

Why transcribing by hand stalls

Typing one hour of Taglish by hand takes most of a day, and a thesis has a dozen of them.

✗ Typing it yourself

Most thesis writers transcribe their own interviews, pausing every few seconds. With ten or more respondents, transcription eats the weeks meant for analysis, and the code-switching makes every hour slower to type than the last.

  • A full day of typing per hour of audio
  • Code-switching that is hard to type consistently
  • Quotes with no time to check them by
  • English-only tools that drop the Tagalog
  • A deadline that does not move
  • Hired typists paid by the audio minute

✓ The same interview here

Each interview comes back as an appendix-ready transcript with the start of your analysis attached.

  • Verbatim text in the respondent's own words
  • A timestamp on each line
  • Key quotes with the speaker named
  • The questions the interview answered
  • Five 90-minute interviews on the $6 pack
  • DOCX for the appendix, TXT for coding

FAQ

Tagalog thesis interviews, answered.

How long does one interview take?

A 90-minute interview takes about 3 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes of processing per audio hour. A 45-minute one is done in under 2, which means a whole week of fieldwork can be read the same evening.

What will all my interviews cost?

Five interviews of 90 minutes come to 450 minutes and fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes. Twelve interviews of an hour each, 720 minutes, need the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes, which leaves room for follow-ups.

Will a respondent's mix of Tagalog and English come through?

Yes. Tagalog, Filipino and English are detected automatically, and English and Tagalog switches inside one interview are handled. Fieldwork in Cebuano, Hiligaynon or Bikol is supported, but expect a fast first draft that needs one review pass against the audio.

My recording is a long video call. Is it too large?

A file may be up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Uploads up to 2 GB work before your first pack, and anything larger starts once a pack is on the account. There is no need to split an interview.

Can my panel accept an AI transcript?

That is up to your adviser and panel. Most ask that you check the transcript against the audio, and the timestamp on each line makes that check quick. Correct names, places and local terms by hand before the text goes into the appendix, since those are where any transcript slips.

Which exports are there, and what happens to my respondents' audio?

DOCX for the appendix, TXT for coding software, and SRT, VTT or JSON if you need them. For your ethics section: recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
