What it is
Vertex AI Conversation (part of Vertex AI Agent Builder) lets developers ground LLM responses in a data store and ship the result as a chat or voice agent. It is Google's answer to the LLM-first conversational AI trend and shares infra with Dialogflow CX. Voice deployments still flow through the Dialogflow Phone Gateway or partner CCaaS connectors.
Watch out for: Newer than Dialogflow CX; some enterprise flow controls less mature.
