Transcribe grand rounds recordings with the clinical terms kept.
To transcribe a grand rounds recording, upload the hour-plus session or paste its link, and the talk and the discussion after it come back as one timestamped transcript in about two or three minutes. The first 20 minutes are free; a $6 pack covers several sessions, and a year of weekly grand rounds fits one $24 pack.
For teaching hospitals and departments
An hour of case discussion, kept as text you can search.
Names, numbers and doses listed
The brief lists the names, numbers and dates that were said, which on a clinical talk includes drug names, doses and trial figures. Check any of them against the audio using the timestamp before you rely on it.
Recordings stay on our servers
Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and you can delete a recording and its transcript at any time. Remove patient identifiers before upload if your policy requires it.
Case, discussion, questions
Chapters divide the session into the case presentation, the evidence review and the questions from the floor. Residents can go straight to the part they missed.
A year of sessions
Forty-five weekly sessions of 60 minutes are 2,700 minutes, within the $24 pack of 5,000. A long recording from the department's video system above 500 MB continues on the upload page.
Why grand rounds go unused
The teaching is recorded every week, and almost nobody goes back to it.
✗ Recordings on a shared drive
Most departments record grand rounds and archive the video. Finding one discussion months later means guessing the date and scrubbing the file. The questions from the floor, often the most practical part, are the hardest to find.
- Videos named by date with no description
- No way to search for a drug or a diagnosis
- Residents on shift miss the session entirely
- Slides survive but the discussion does not
- Typed notes depend on whoever volunteered
- Outside transcription priced per minute for every week
✓ The same sessions here
Each week becomes text you can search, with the clinical detail drawn out.
- Every session in one searchable Library
- Drug names and figures listed per session
- Chapters for case, discussion and questions
- A brief for those who could not attend
- Captions as SRT or VTT for the video
- One $24 pack for a year of weekly talks

FAQ
Grand rounds transcription, answered.
How long does a grand rounds recording take?
At about 2 minutes per hour of audio, a 60-minute session is ready in about two minutes and a 90-minute one in about three.
What does it cost for one session or a year of them?
One 60-minute session uses 60 minutes, and the first 20 are free for a new visitor; the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers about eight sessions. Forty-five weekly sessions are 2,700 minutes, which fit the $24 pack of 5,000.
Our recordings are large video files. Will they upload?
Department video files are accepted up to 5 GB. Before a pack is added, the upload limit is 2 GB. Recordings hosted on YouTube, Vimeo or Google Drive can be pasted as links.
Do I need to split a long half-day teaching session?
No. A recording up to 10 hours goes in as one file, so a morning of grand rounds and case conferences keeps one timeline.
Will it handle medical vocabulary and other languages?
Drug names and clinical terms are transcribed as spoken, and the names and numbers list collects them; check doses against the audio before using them. Languages are detected automatically among 99.
What can I export, and how is the recording handled?
DOCX, TXT, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. This is not a medical records service, so de-identify patient details before upload where your policy requires it.
