Training is recorded once and used for years. Upload the session, whether that is a room recording, a screen recording of the trainer, or a call recording exported to a file, and get the whole thing as searchable text with word-level timestamps and caption files for the video. a pack from $4 opens the full transcript and opens in full at any length.
How it works
The recording you already have is the source for everything written afterwards.
Screen recording with the trainer's microphone, a camera at the front of the room, or the recording your meeting tool saves. Export it as a file, since a pasted Zoom link is refused.
Files up to 500 MB go straight into the box on this page, and anything larger continues on the upload page, up to 10 hours or 5 GB.
Export DOCX to edit into a written guide, MD for your wiki, and SRT or VTT to caption the video.
What the text becomes
Most training is delivered live once and then sits as a video nobody scrubs through.
The trainer already explained it properly out loud, and editing that explanation into a document beats writing one from scratch.
SRT and VTT files attach to the video, so the session works in an open-plan office and for anyone who needs captions.
A new starter with one question finds the ninety seconds that answer it instead of watching a two-hour session.
Reading a session takes a fraction of the time sitting through it does, and going back over a part that did not land is easy.
Getting it right
Most of the quality comes from the microphone and from a single pass over your own vocabulary.
A lapel or headset microphone on the speaker is worth more than any other change; a laptop at the front picks up chairs and the corridor.
Internal names, systems and acronyms are where corrections cluster. There is no word list to load, so fix each term once across the document.
The trainer and any questions from the room appear as separate turns in the transcript view. The TXT, DOCX, SRT and VTT files you download hold only the text; JSON is the export that carries speaker information.
You get what the trainer said, not a lesson plan, a summary or a set of exercises. The structure is yours to impose on the text.
