Transcribe a cooperative general assembly with every figure the officers read aloud.
A 7-hour cooperative general assembly comes back as searchable text in about 14 minutes, with each committee report in its own chapter and the figures read aloud listed with timestamps. The first 20 minutes are free, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers the 420-minute day with 80 minutes left.
For cooperative secretaries and education committees
Members ask later what the treasurer said about the dividend. The transcript answers with the exact sentence.
The figures, as they were read
Share capital, net surplus, interest on capital and patronage refund rates, loan totals: the numbers and dates said aloud during the reports are listed with their timestamps.
A chapter for each committee
Chairperson's report, treasurer's report, audit committee, credit committee, election: chapters mark each part of the day so a committee can find its own section.
About 14 minutes for the day
At about 2 minutes of processing per hour of audio, a full assembly is quick; our public run did 4.94 hours in 372 seconds; the method is on the long-files proof page.
Upload the day's recording
A camcorder file or a phone recording goes through the upload page; a livestream replay on YouTube can be pasted as a link.
Why the day is hard to minute
A general assembly packs a year of reports into one day, and the minutes are written from slides and memory.
✗ Minuting from the slides
The slides show the tables, but the explanations, the members' questions and the amendments from the floor are only in the recording. Members who could not attend read minutes that leave out the reasons behind each decision.
- Seven hours of audio no one replays
- Amendments from the floor missed
- Members' questions left out of the minutes
- Explanations in Filipino lost
- Figures copied from slides, not from what was said
- Minutes ready long after the next board term starts
✓ The cooperative AGA, transcribed
The whole day comes back as text, divided by report and searchable by figure.
- A brief with the day's decisions
- Figures said aloud, listed
- Chapters for each committee report
- Members' questions drawn out
- A 7-hour day on the $6 pack
- A Word file to start the AGA minutes
Sample output
The treasurer's report and a member's question.

FAQ
Cooperative general assembly recordings, answered.
How long does a 7-hour assembly take?
About 14 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes of processing per hour of audio. An 8-hour day is near 16.
What will the cooperative pay?
A 7-hour assembly is 420 minutes and fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes. If the education committee also records twelve 2-hour seminars for members, the 1,440 minutes go on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. Prices are in USD, there is no subscription and credits never expire.
The full-day video is several gigabytes. Will it upload?
The assembly day goes in as a single file of up to 10 hours or 5 GB, whichever comes sooner, with a 2 GB cap until the cooperative has its first pack. If the upload refuses the video, convert it to MP3 first: at 128 kbps an hour of MP3 is about 58 MB, so a 7-hour day is about 400 MB.
Can we rely on the figures in the transcript?
They are the figures as spoken, with the time each was said. The audited financial statements remain the source; use the timestamps to check that the minutes match what the treasurer read.
Members spoke Cebuano during the open forum. What happens?
Filipino and English are detected automatically, switches between them are handled and the English reports come back cleanly. Cebuano and the other regional languages are supported as well; those parts are a fast first draft, so plan one review pass over them.
What exports do we get, and who sees the recording?
Formats are TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON, timestamps included. Members' questions about their loans are private matters: the file is transcribed on our own servers, never used for training, and can be deleted when the minutes are approved.
