Transcribe an HOA general assembly and draft the minutes from what homeowners actually said.
A 5-hour homeowners association general assembly comes back as searchable text in about 10 minutes, with the motions, amounts and dates said aloud listed with timestamps for the minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers a 5-hour assembly with 200 minutes left.
For HOA secretaries and boards
The minutes have to say what was moved and approved. The transcript shows the exact minute it happened.
Motions you can find again
Search the transcript for 'I move' or 'seconded' and jump to each motion and its vote. The secretary writes the resolution from the words used in the hall.
The amounts said aloud
Monthly dues, the treasurer's balance, contractor quotes and deadlines spoken during the reports are pulled out with their timestamps, so the written minutes carry the same figures the officers presented in the hall.
Open forum, in order
The questions the assembly answers are drawn out, which turns a long open forum about water, security and the clubhouse into a list the board can act on.
A brief before the board meets
The thesis and takeaways of the assembly give the board a one-page view of what was decided and what was left pending.
Why minutes take weeks
The secretary records five hours, then spends weekends writing minutes that homeowners will question.
✗ Writing HOA minutes by hand
General assemblies run long, the open forum is loud, and disputes about what was approved come back at the next meeting. A board that changes after the election inherits promises it cannot trace.
- Five hours of audio replayed for one motion
- Dues and quotes noted with the wrong figure
- Open forum questions with no answer recorded
- Taglish debate hard to summarise
- Minutes approved months later
- Arguments about what the board promised
✓ That HOA assembly, as text
The whole meeting comes back as text, searchable by motion, figure and speaker.
- A brief with what was decided
- Motions and votes found by search
- Dues, quotes and dates listed
- Officers named in the summary
- A 5-hour assembly on the $6 pack
- A Word draft of the HOA minutes

FAQ
HOA general assembly recordings, answered.
How soon will the 5-hour assembly be text?
About 10 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes of processing per hour of audio. A 3-hour assembly is ready in about 6.
What does the association pay?
A 5-hour assembly uses 300 minutes, so the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers it and leaves 200 for board meetings. Twelve monthly board meetings of 2 hours add 1,440 minutes and move the year onto the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. Prices are in USD; credits never expire.
Will the transcript serve as the assembly's minutes?
No. It is a working draft with timestamps for the secretary; the minutes are what the board writes and the assembly approves. Read every motion against the recording before it goes into a resolution.
Our assembly was recorded on a camcorder. Will the file be too big?
Camcorder footage of a 5-hour assembly is accepted as one file up to 10 hours or 5 GB, whichever it reaches first. While the association has no pack yet, the cap per upload is 2 GB; past that, the video starts once a pack is bought. Should the upload refuse the camcorder file, convert it to MP3 first.
Homeowners spoke Tagalog, English and Bikol. Does the transcript keep up?
Tagalog and English are detected automatically, switches between them are handled and the English reports come back cleanly. Bikol and the other regional languages are supported too, but those passages are a fast first draft, so give them one review pass.
What exports come back, and who can read the meeting?
The secretary can download TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Homeowner matters stay private: the file is transcribed on our own servers, never used for training, and deletable by the secretary at any time.
