How do I transcribe a church livestream? From the replay link, in minutes.
Paste the YouTube replay link of the livestream, or upload the recording from your streaming computer: each service can run up to 10 hours or 5 GB (2 GB before the first pack), and it is transcribed at about 2 minutes per audio hour. A 2-hour service, 120 minutes, is ready in about 4 minutes; the first 20 minutes are free and the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers four services.
Sunday's stream, by Monday morning
The sermon in writing, without anyone typing it.
Paste the replay
Once the stream ends, YouTube keeps the replay at the same link, and that link goes straight in; nothing is downloaded. A stream on Vimeo, Twitch or Kick works the same way. A Facebook Live service has to be downloaded first and then uploaded, as does any stream saved only on the church computer.
Worship songs are skipped
Music is not transcribed; the speech is. The worship set appears as a gap in the timestamps, and the welcome, readings, prayers, sermon and announcements come through as text, with chapters marking each part.
What the team can do with it
The brief gives the sermon's main points for the weekly email or small-group notes, key quotes give lines for social posts, and SRT or VTT captions make the replay usable with the sound off. The preacher and other speakers are named in the summary and key quotes.
Long events and vigils
A conference weekend or an overnight vigil can be streamed for many hours. Replays longer than 6 hours start once a pack is on the account, and a single file stops at 10 hours or 5 GB, so a longer event becomes two files. Large uploads can use the upload page.

Why sermons on video stay hard to find.
✗ Video only
A replay is easy to post and hard to search; a member looking for one sermon point has to scrub through the whole service.
- Two hours to find one illustration
- Sermon notes typed by a volunteer
- Auto-captions full of song lyrics
- No text for the weekly newsletter
- Hard to share with those who cannot watch
- Old services forgotten after a week
✓ The service as text
Each week's service becomes text, chapters and captions minutes after the stream ends.
- Replay link, no download
- About 4 minutes for 2 hours
- Songs left out of the text
- Preacher named in the summary
- Chapters for each part of the service
- Captions for muted viewers
Sample output
Moments from a Sunday service.
Invented lines for illustration, not from any real congregation. The worship set shows as a gap in the times.

FAQ
Church livestreams, answered.
How long does a service take to transcribe?
About 2 minutes per audio hour, so a 90-minute service is ready in about 3 minutes and a 2-hour one in about 4. With a replay link there is no upload to wait for.
What does a year of services cost?
A first-time visitor gets 20 minutes free. Four 2-hour services fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes. Fifty-two services of 90 minutes come to 4,680 minutes, which fits the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes, bought once with credits that never expire.
Our stream is on Facebook. Can we paste that link?
No, Facebook links are not read. Page admins can usually download a past live video from Facebook, or keep a local copy from the streaming software; then upload the file. YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch, Kick and Drive links paste directly.
Does it cope with a service in another language?
Yes. 99 languages are detected automatically, and a service that moves between two languages is detected on its main language with the switched parts handled. Scripture names and place names are worth a quick check in the text.
Can we transcribe only the sermon?
The whole recording is transcribed, and the chapters show where the sermon starts and ends, so copying just that part takes a moment. Minutes are counted on the full recording you send, so trimming the file to the sermon first saves minutes.
What happens to the recording?
Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. The transcript stays in your Library for you to export or delete.
