Transcribe a 100-minute meeting From recording to minutes in minutes.
A 100-minute meeting recording is transcribed in about 3 minutes 20 seconds and uses 100 of the 500 minutes in the $6 pack, so one pack covers five meetings of that length. A team that meets weekly for 100 minutes uses 400 minutes a month, the first 20 minutes are free, and nothing joins the call: the work happens on the recording afterwards.
One long meeting
What happens to 100 minutes of discussion.
The file you already have
A Zoom local recording usually saves an MP4 and an audio-only M4A; a Teams or Meet recording is downloaded from where your organisation stores it and then uploaded. A phone on the table recording the room works too. Any of these goes in as it is.
Size for a 100-minute call
An audio-only M4A at 64 kbps is about 48 MB for 100 minutes. A gallery-view MP4 at 1.5 Mbps is about 1.1 GB, and screen sharing in high resolution can push it higher. Files over 500 MB continue on the upload page, and the limit per file is 5 GB.
Minutes, not just words
The brief states what the meeting was for and what it settled. Chapters follow the agenda with timestamps, the dates, figures and deadlines said aloud are listed, and attendees are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters so each decision has an owner.
Ask the meeting a question
The chat over the transcript answers things like what was agreed on the budget or who offered to draft the proposal, and points to the moment it was said. That saves replaying an hour and forty minutes to settle one doubt.
After the call ends
Why long meetings go unrecorded in practice.
✗ Recording kept, never read
A 100-minute recording sits in a folder because nobody has the time to replay it, and the notes someone typed during the call miss half of it.
- A notetaker bot that must be invited first
- Transcripts tied to a plan or a setting
- Notes taken by whoever was talking least
- Action items with no owner
- A recording nobody replays
- Decisions remembered differently by Friday
✓ A meeting you can act on
The recording is turned into minutes after the fact, whatever plan the call ran on.
- Minutes-ready text in about 3 min 20 s
- Agenda items as timestamped chapters
- Attendees named in the summary
- Deadlines and figures listed
- DOCX ready to circulate
- Four more meetings left on the pack

FAQ
100-minute meetings, answered.
How long does a 100-minute meeting take to transcribe?
About 3 minutes 20 seconds from the end of the upload. The audio-only M4A uploads quickly; a large MP4 with screen sharing can take longer to send than to process.
What does a 100-minute meeting cost, and how many fit in a pack?
The $6 pack (500 minutes) fits five meetings of this length, each using $1.20 of credit at $0.72 per audio hour. A weekly meeting for a month is 400 minutes, leaving 100 for an extra one. A first-time visitor transcribes the first 20 minutes free. A team that records several meetings every week can also look at the $19/month Workspace.
Is there a size limit for meeting recordings?
A meeting file can run to 10 hours or 5 GB. Before the first pack, files up to 2 GB upload; a 100-minute meeting saved as audio is nowhere near that, and most MP4s of this length are under it too.
Recording stopped halfway and made two files. What now?
Upload each part as its own file; they are transcribed separately with their own chapters. Recordings stop and restart when someone pauses them, so two files from one meeting is normal.
Can it handle a meeting in another language, or a mixed one?
Yes. The main language is detected automatically among 99, and a meeting that switches between English and Tagalog is handled. Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Hebrew and Swedish meetings work without a setting.
Which exports come back, and does anything join our calls?
Minutes go out as DOCX or TXT, and SRT, VTT and JSON are there too. Nothing joins your meetings. Meeting recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
