Transcribe a 2-hour memorial service so the family can keep the words.
A 2-hour memorial or funeral service is 120 minutes of eulogies, readings and prayers, and the spoken parts come back as text in about 4 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers the full service with 380 minutes left.
For the family
The things people said about someone you loved, kept in writing.
Four minutes, quietly
Two hours of audio takes about 4 minutes at roughly 2 minutes per audio hour. If the service was streamed for relatives who could not travel, paste that YouTube or Vimeo link; a recording shared on Google Drive works the same way.
Each tribute in its place
The eulogies, the readings, the prayers and the words from friends each become a chapter with a timestamp. The people who spoke are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, so you can find a cousin's tribute without listening to the whole service again.
Words only
Hymns, organ music and recorded songs are not transcribed. What comes back is what was said, in the order it was said, which makes it easy to print a eulogy for the person who gave it or to share the full text with relatives abroad.
Something to print and keep
Download the DOCX to print or to place in a memory book. The brief lists the names, places and dates that were mentioned, which can help when writing an obituary or answering relatives who want to know what was said.
Why families ask for this
The service was recorded, but few people will play two hours of it again.
✗ The recording alone
The words are kept, but only for someone willing to sit through the full recording again.

- Relatives abroad who missed the stream
- Captions that try to follow the hymns
- Typing a eulogy from the video by hand
- A free tool that stops partway through
✓ The service as text
The spoken parts come back in order, ready to print, share or keep.
- Text in roughly 4 minutes
- Each eulogy as a chapter
- Hymns and music left out
- Names, places and dates listed
- DOCX ready to print
- The $6 pack still holds 380 minutes

FAQ
A 2-hour memorial service, the common questions.
How long does a 2-hour memorial service take to transcribe?
It takes about 4 minutes; processing runs near 2 minutes for each hour of audio. The transcript stays in your Library, so you can come back to it later.
What will the service cost to transcribe?
120 minutes on the $6 pack of 500 minutes, leaving 380. If this is your first visit, the first 20 minutes are free, and the pack completes the service from where the free part ended. If only the eulogies matter, trimming the file to those parts uses fewer minutes.
Can I use the livestream link the family was sent?
Yes, if it is a YouTube, Vimeo or Google Drive link. A Facebook live replay needs to be downloaded and then uploaded. A two-hour downloaded video is often 1 to 4 GB; up to 2 GB uploads before a pack and up to 5 GB after one.
A speaker was crying or hard to hear. What happens?
Speech that is audible on the recording is transcribed, and words that are very quiet or broken can come through with gaps. The timestamps let you play that moment again and fill in what matters by hand.
The service was in more than one language. Does that work?
99 languages are detected automatically, and the service is detected on its main language. English and Tagalog switches in one recording are handled; a eulogy entirely in another language is worth checking against the recording.
What can the family download, and who sees the recording?
The family can download TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and you can delete the recording and its transcript at any time.
