Transcribe a 2-hour webinar Talk, slides and Q&A as text.
A 2-hour webinar is 120 minutes, transcribed in about 4 minutes, and it uses 120 of the 500 minutes in the $6 pack, leaving 380, so four webinars of that length fit with 20 minutes over. Paste the replay link if it is on YouTube or Vimeo, or download the recording from the webinar platform and upload it, with the first 20 minutes free.
Two hours of webinar
From replay to reusable text.
Getting the recording in
If the replay is published on YouTube or Vimeo, paste the link and nothing needs downloading. If it lives in the webinar platform, download the recording, usually an MP4 (check the platform's export or recordings page), and upload that. Nothing connects to the platform itself.
Size of a two-hour replay
A slide-led webinar at 720p and about 1 Mbps is around 900 MB for two hours; a 1080p stream at 3 Mbps is about 2.7 GB, which starts once a pack is on the account. Audio alone at 128 kbps is about 115 MB. Files over 500 MB use the upload page.
Four minutes, with proof
Processing runs at about 2 minutes per audio hour, so 120 minutes takes around 4. On the public timing page, a 2.48-hour file finished in 200 seconds. The full arithmetic and the other runs are at /proof/long-files.
A webinar becomes several assets
The brief gives the thesis and takeaways for a recap email, chapters with timestamps become the replay page's contents, and the questions the webinar answers are listed, which is a ready FAQ. Each presenter is named in the summary, key quotes and chapters.
After the webinar
Why two hours of content sits unused.
✗ A replay nobody watches
Attendees who missed it rarely sit through two hours, and the content behind it is locked in video.
- Replay links with low completion
- Platform captions that may not export
- Recap emails written from slides only
- Audience questions lost after the session
- No text for the replay page
- An hour cap that cuts the Q&A
✓ A webinar people can read
The whole session as text, plus the pieces for follow-up.
- 120 minutes processed in about 4
- Chapters for the replay page
- Questions answered, listed
- Presenters named in key quotes
- SRT and VTT for captions
- 380 of 500 pack minutes left

FAQ
2-hour webinars, answered.
How long does a 2-hour webinar take to transcribe?
About 4 minutes of processing for 120 minutes of audio. A pasted YouTube or Vimeo link skips the upload; a downloaded MP4 needs to upload first, which on a slow connection can take longer than the transcription.
What does a 2-hour webinar cost, and how does that compare with a 100-minute one?
Two hours uses 120 minutes of the $6 pack (500 minutes) and leaves 380. A 100-minute session, the length we see most among paid uploads, would leave 400, and five of those fit in a pack. A monthly 2-hour series for a year is 1,440 minutes, which fits the $12 pack (2,000 minutes). New visitors get the opening 20 minutes of the first webinar free.
Is a two-hour MP4 too large?
Usually not. A webinar file may be as long as 10 hours or as large as 5 GB. Before the first pack, uploads up to 2 GB go through; a high-bitrate 1080p replay can be larger, and it starts once a pack is on the account.
The webinar recording is in several parts. Should I merge them?
Upload each part as its own file. Platforms sometimes save the main session and a breakout or Q&A separately; each part gets its own transcript and chapters.
What if the webinar was in Spanish, Japanese or another language?
The language is detected automatically among 99, so there is nothing to choose. A webinar whose presenter switches between English and Tagalog is handled. Intro music and countdown tracks are skipped; the presentation is transcribed.
What can I download, and who can see the webinar recording?
TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON, with SRT and VTT ready for captions on the replay. Webinar recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
