Transcribe a 3-hour court hearing and find the passage before the next listing.
A 3-hour court hearing is 180 minutes of submissions, evidence and rulings, and its recording comes back as timestamped working text in about 6 minutes; a court audio copy of that length is usually 90 to 180 MB as MP3, and a remote-hearing video 500 MB to 2 GB. Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes, and credits never expire.
For preparation, not for the record
Three hours of a hearing, searchable while the official transcript is still on order.
Working text the same afternoon
An official transcript can take days or weeks. Teams preparing a note of evidence, a submission or an appeal ground use a working copy in the meantime: processing runs at about 2 minutes per audio hour, so three hours is ready in about 6 minutes.
Audio copies and remote hearings
Court audio copies often arrive as MP3 or WAV, and remote hearings are saved from Zoom, Teams or a similar platform as MP4. If the copy came in a proprietary player format, export or convert it to a standard audio file first, then upload. Where a hearing was published on YouTube, paste the link.
Submissions and evidence as chapters
Opening submissions, each witness in chief and in cross, re-examination, closing, the ruling. Timestamped chapters follow those stages, and the judge, counsel and witnesses are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters.
Dates, sums and exhibits pulled out
The brief lists the names, numbers and dates that were said: the date of the agreement, the amount claimed, the exhibit referred to. Each carries a timestamp, so it can be checked against the audio and, later, against the official record.
Waiting for the transcript

FAQ
Three-hour hearings: what practitioners ask.
How long does a 3-hour hearing take to transcribe?
About 6 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per audio hour. Our proof page shows a 9.31-hour file finished in 1,033 seconds, so even a long day of hearings is minutes, not days.
What does a hearing, or a trial, cost?
One three-hour hearing is 180 minutes on the $4 pack of 300 minutes. There is no subscription, and credits never expire between listings.
Is this an official or certified transcript?
No. It is a working transcript produced by AI, useful for preparation, search and quotation checks, it does not replace the official record or a court reporter, and it is not legal advice. Check any passage you rely on against the audio and the official transcript.
The court gave us a full day on one recording. Will it fit?
One file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB, whichever comes first, so a seven-hour court day goes up whole. Two days on one recording that passes 10 hours needs to become two files. Without a pack, uploads up to 5 GB are accepted.
The hearing used an interpreter. How is that handled?
99 languages are detected automatically, and a hearing that moves between languages is detected on its main language. Interpreted evidence in the other language should be checked against the recording before it is quoted.
Where does the hearing audio go?
Hearing recordings are transcribed on our own servers and never used for training. You can delete the audio copy and its transcript as soon as the matter allows.
