Transcribe bar exam prep lectures into outlines you can search.
A bar review lecture in the US often runs 2 to 4 hours, and WhipScribe transcribes a 3-hour recording in about 6 minutes, with the first 20 minutes free. A course of twenty-five 3-hour lectures is 4,500 minutes, which fits on the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes.
From lecture video to your own outline
Bar prep is weeks of long lectures. Reading them back is faster than rewatching them.
The rules, in the lecturer's words
A bar review lecture moves through elements, exceptions and the traps examiners like to set. The brief states the main rules covered and the takeaways, and the chapters follow each subject, so the hour on hearsay exceptions sits under its own heading.
Only the lectures you may download
Bar prep courses decide whether their lectures can be downloaded, and some do not allow it. Transcribe the recordings your course lets you save, or lectures you recorded yourself where that is permitted. WhipScribe has no connection to any course platform.
A lecture series, costed
One 3-hour lecture is 180 minutes, so the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers two of them with time left. Eleven 3-hour lectures total 1,980 minutes, inside the $12 pack of 2,000. A full course of twenty-five belongs on the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes.
Quiz the lecture
Ask the chat which elements the lecturer listed for adverse possession, or where the essay approach for a remedies question was explained. Use the answer and its timestamp to check your outline against the source. upload page

FAQ
Bar prep lecture recordings, answered.
How quickly is a 3-hour bar review lecture transcribed?
About 6 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes of work per hour of audio. A 2-hour lecture takes about 4 and a 4-hour one about 8.
What does a whole bar review course cost?
Count the lecture minutes first. Two 3-hour lectures are 360 minutes on the $6 pack of 500. Eleven come to 1,980 minutes on the $12 pack of 2,000. Twenty-five come to 4,500 minutes on the $24 pack of 5,000. The first 20 minutes of your first bar lecture are free.
My lecture video runs to several gigabytes. Will it upload?
One file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB; before your first pack the cap is 2 GB. A 4-hour lecture never needs to be split, and if the video is too large, uploading only its audio works just as well.
Can I transcribe a course I can only stream?
Only recordings you are allowed to download or record. WhipScribe does not log into course sites or capture streams, and it works on a file or a public link you provide.
What if the lecture is in another language?
Yes. 99 languages are detected automatically, so a lecture in Spanish or a recording that switches into Spanish for an example is handled without settings.
What exports come back, and is the lecture private?
Download the lecture as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Bar lectures are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. The transcript is a study aid, not legal advice.
