Transcribe board meetings and AGMs in Australia with every figure kept.
A board meeting or AGM in Australia typically runs 2 to 5 hours, and a 4-hour recording comes back here as text in about 8 minutes, with the decisions, figures and dates listed beside it. The first 20 minutes are free, and a $6 pack of 500 minutes covers the rest of a 4-hour meeting.
What the secretary gets back
The meeting as text, with the parts that go into the minutes already found.
Decisions you can find
Every motion, amendment and result is easier to find when the meeting is text. Search for 'carried' or 'moved' and each one is there with its timestamp, so the minutes record the decision as it was put.
Figures and dates in one list
Revenue, budgets, dividend amounts, headcounts and deadlines are pulled from the discussion into a list. When the treasurer reads the numbers aloud, you have them without asking for the slide again.
Agenda items as chapters
Apologies, the previous minutes, the reports, general business: each item becomes a chapter with its start time. For an AGM, the members' questions are easy to find under their own heading.
From recording to draft minutes
The brief states the main outcomes and takeaways, a sensible starting point for the minutes. Upload the meeting file on upload page, then edit the draft in DOCX before it goes to the chair.
Why minutes take so long
Long meetings with many voices are hard to minute from memory.
✗ Minuting from notes
Someone takes notes while also following the discussion, and the gaps show up later.
- Notes that miss a figure
- Disputes over how a motion was worded
- Two hours of audio to replay for one line
- Members' questions summarised from memory
- No timestamp to settle a query
- Draft minutes a week late
✓ Minuting from the transcript
The whole meeting is searchable the same afternoon.
- Around 8 minutes for a 4-hour meeting
- Motions found by searching the text
- Figures and dates listed
- Directors named in the summary and quotes
- Chapters by agenda item
- Minutes drafted from an editable DOCX

FAQ
Board meeting and AGM recordings, the common questions.
How long does a 4-hour AGM take to transcribe?
Roughly eight minutes. Processing runs at around 2 minutes per hour of audio; our proof page shows a 4.94-hour recording finished in 372 seconds. A 2-hour board meeting takes about 4.
What does a year of board meetings cost?
Twelve monthly meetings of three hours each come to 2,160 minutes. That is just over the $12 pack, so the $24 pack of 5,000 minutes is the right one and leaves room for the AGM and committee meetings. A single 4-hour meeting fits in the $6 pack. Pack prices are in US dollars.
Will the transcript be our official minutes?
No. It is a timestamped working record for the person who writes the minutes. The minutes are still prepared, checked and approved by your board in the usual way.
How large can the meeting recording be?
Each recording may run to 10 hours or 5 GB. Before the first pack, uploads go to 2 GB, enough for a few hours of video. An audio-only recording from a conference phone is far smaller.
Are directors and members identified?
They are identified and named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, so the record shows who moved a motion and who asked a question. 99 languages are detected automatically if a meeting includes another language.
What exports come back, and is it confidential?
You get TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. Board papers stay yours, and you can delete the recording and text at any point.
