The brief sets out what the session was about and its takeaways, and the names, figures and dates said aloud are listed apart from the text. That list is where the amounts, deadlines and ordinance numbers are, which are the details an acta cannot get wrong.
Every intervention in its place
Chapters mark each agenda item with a timestamp, and the councillors and the chair are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters. When a member disputes how their vote was recorded, play back the moment instead of arguing over notes.
A livestream link works
If the session was streamed on YouTube, paste the link and there is nothing to download. A recording kept on a laptop or in Google Drive works too; files up to 10 hours or 5 GB go up whole.
What a year of sessions costs

How long does a 5-hour council session take to transcribe?
About 10 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per audio hour. A six-hour session takes about 12 minutes, and a three-hour one about 6.
What does a session cost?
A 5-hour session is 300 minutes, inside the $6 pack of 500 minutes. A council that holds two such sessions a month uses about 600 minutes, which the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes covers. Prices are in US dollars.
How large can a council session file be?
Each file may be as long as 10 hours or as large as 5 GB. Until a pack is on the account the limit is 2 GB, and a bigger video waits for one. A YouTube link avoids the upload altogether.
The session was recorded in two parts after a recess. Should I join them?
No need. Upload each part as its own file and each will have chapters and timestamps from its own start. Join the DOCX exports if the acta needs one source document.
Is Spanish the only language?
Spanish is detected automatically, and 99 languages are supported in total. A session that switches language partway is transcribed on its main language.
What formats come back, and is the recording kept private?
A session downloads as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. DOCX is the easiest place to start an acta, and SRT or VTT can caption the session video. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and the council can delete a session whenever its retention rules say so.
