Transcribe court and tribunal hearings recorded in Peru, as text to work from.
A hearing recorded in Peru can run the whole day, and preparing the next step means finding what each party said in hours of audio. A 7-hour audiencia comes back in about 14 minutes as Spanish text with timestamps, the first 20 minutes are free, and its 420 minutes fit inside a $6 pack of 500 minutes.
A hearing you can work from
The whole day of argument, findable by the minute it happened.
A working copy, stated plainly
This is an AI transcript with timestamps for working from. It is not a certified court transcript, not a substitute for a court reporter, and not legal advice. Use it to prepare, to find passages and to check your notes, then cite the official record where one is required.
The day in one upload
A single file can run 10 hours or 5 GB, so a hearing that lasted from morning to evening goes up without being split. A recording longer than 10 hours goes up as two files, divided at a recess. Large video files continue on the upload page.
Find any intervention fast
Every passage carries a timestamp, and chapters follow the stages of the day. The parties and the bench are named in the summary, key quotes and chapters, so you can locate a witness statement or a ruling from the bench and play back that exact moment.
Fourteen minutes for seven hours
Processing runs at about 2 minutes per audio hour, so a full day of hearing is ready in roughly a quarter of an hour. Our proof page shows a 9.31-hour recording finishing in 1,033 seconds, which is the scale a long hearing reaches.
Why hearing audio is hard to use
A day of audio is evidence you cannot search.
✗ Working from the raw recording
Without text, preparing from a long hearing means listening to it again.
- Seven hours of audio replayed to find one answer
- Handwritten notes that miss exact wording
- Typists who need days for a single hearing
- Upload limits that reject a full-day file
- No timestamp to point a colleague to
- A subscription for an occasional hearing
✓ Working from text
The recording goes up once and every intervention can be searched and replayed.
- A 7-hour day ready in about 14 minutes
- One file up to 10 hours
- Timestamps on every passage
- Parties named in the summary and quotes
- DOCX to annotate, TXT to search
- One-time packs from $6

FAQ
Hearing recordings in Peru, answered.
How long does a full-day hearing take to transcribe?
About 14 minutes for 7 hours of recording, at roughly 2 minutes per audio hour. A short morning session of 3 hours takes about 6.
What does a day of hearing cost?
Seven hours is 420 minutes, which fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes. A hearing spread over two full days, around 840 minutes, fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes. Prices are in US dollars and there is no subscription.
Can a recording this long be uploaded in one go?
Yes, up to 10 hours or 5 GB per file. Before the first pack, uploads go up to 2 GB, and a larger video starts once a pack is on the account. Converting a video to audio first makes the file much smaller.
The hearing went past 10 hours. What now?
Split it into two files at a recess and upload both. Each half has its own timestamps, so note in your file which part a passage comes from.
Is Spanish detected, and what about passages in another language?
Spanish is detected automatically, among 99 languages. When a recording switches language it is transcribed on its main language, so any interpreted passages should be checked against the audio.
Who has access to the recording?
You do. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and you can delete the file and its transcript at any time. The hearing text downloads as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON.
