Transcribe a court hearing recording from a day in a Spanish tribunal.
To transcribe the recording of a court or tribunal hearing in Spain, upload the audio or video below: a 6-hour hearing comes back in about 12 minutes as a timestamped working transcript, and one file holds up to 10 hours or 5 GB. The first 20 minutes are free, and a 6-hour day fits the $6 pack of 500 minutes.
For preparing from the record
The whole day of the juicio, in text, with the minute each thing was said.
What this is, and what it is not
You get an AI transcript with timestamps to work from: to prepare a written submission, review testimony or brief a colleague. It is not a certified court transcript, not a substitute for a court reporter or the official record, and not legal advice.
The whole session, one clock
A hearing that runs from morning into the afternoon goes in as one file, so a statement made after the recess keeps its true time in the day. Chapters follow the stages of the session, such as each witness and the closing arguments.
Cost of a hearing day
Six hours is 360 minutes and fits the $6 pack of 500. A hearing that ran 9 hours is 540 minutes and goes on the $12 pack of 2,000, which also covers the next three days of that length. Credits never expire.
Find the testimony you need
Search the transcript for a date, an amount or a name, or ask the chat what a witness said about a specific document. The answer comes with the minute, so you can listen to the original before quoting it.
Why hearing recordings are hard to use
A day of video is the record, but nobody can search a video.
✗ Working from the video
Reviewing a hearing usually means watching it again at normal speed, with a notepad.
- Six hours of playback to find one answer
- Notes that miss the exact wording
- Tools that cap uploads at an hour
- A day cut into separate files
- No timestamps to cite back to
- Catalan testimony left out
✓ Working from text
The full session as a transcript you can read, search and check against the recording.
- Six hours processed in about 12 min
- The day in one file, to 10 hours
- Witnesses named in summary and chapters
- Amounts, dates and names listed
- Spanish and Catalan detected
- DOCX for your own working notes

FAQ
Court hearing recordings in Spain: questions before you upload.
How long does a 6-hour hearing take to transcribe?
About 12 minutes, since speed is around 2 minutes per audio hour. A 9-hour day takes about 18 minutes.
What does a full hearing day cost?
A day of up to 500 minutes, a little over 8 hours, fits the $6 pack. A 9-hour day goes on the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes; several long days in one case go on the $24 pack of 5,000. Figures are in USD, and someone new to WhipScribe gets the first 20 minutes free.
How large can the hearing video be?
Hearing videos may be up to 5 GB, and a file may last 10 hours. Before your first pack, uploads up to 2 GB start immediately; larger files start once a pack is on the account. If the video is over 5 GB, upload the audio track alone.
The hearing spans two days. What do I do?
Upload each day as its own file. Each one is transcribed whole, and a single day never needs to be split as long as it is under 10 hours.
Is this an official or certified record of the hearing?
No. It is an AI transcript with timestamps for working from, not a certified court transcript, and it does not replace a court reporter or the official recording. Spanish and Catalan are detected automatically.
Which exports are there, and who sees the recording?
The hearing exports as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. You can delete the recording and its transcript whenever you want.
