Transcribe a Hindi community meeting and send everyone the action points the same night.
A 2-hour Hindi community meeting recorded in Australia is transcribed in about 4 minutes, with Hindi detected automatically and the English words people mix into it handled in the same pass. The first 20 minutes are free, and five planning meetings of 90 minutes, 450 minutes, fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes.
For festival and association committees
Eight weeks of planning for one festival weekend. Every meeting matters.
Who is doing what
The brief pulls out the takeaways and the questions the meeting settled: stall bookings, the food permit, the sound system, the volunteer roster. Each item links back to the minute it was discussed.
Hinglish, as people speak it
A committee that says "stall ki booking" or "volunteers ki list" is not a problem. The recording is detected on its main language, Hindi, and the English inside it comes through in the same transcript.
A festival season, priced
Five 90-minute planning meetings are 450 minutes on the $6 pack of 500. Add the debrief and a year of monthly 2-hour meetings and you are at about 1,440 minutes, on the $12 pack of 2,000.
Zoom recordings too
Hybrid meetings saved from Zoom come down as an MP4 and an audio-only M4A; the M4A is small and uploads in seconds here. A filmed meeting over 500 MB continues on the upload page.
Why planning stalls
The same questions get asked at every meeting because nobody wrote down the answers.
✗ Planning from memory
Decisions live in a WhatsApp thread and in the convenor's head, and the recording that would settle it is two hours long.
- Action points lost between meetings
- Hindi and English mixed, tools that want one
- New volunteers with no record to read
- The same vendor debate every month
- Minutes typed late at night
- Nothing to hand the next committee
✓ Planning from the text
Upload after the meeting and send the action points before people are home.
- Roughly 4 minutes per 2-hour recording
- Hindi recognised, English vocabulary intact
- The convenor and members named in the summary
- Dates, amounts and names listed
- A chat to ask what was decided about parking
- DOCX to share with the committee
Sample output
A festival planning meeting, in Hindi with English mixed in.
Invented lines for illustration; they come from no real association. English gloss: today we discuss preparations for the Diwali fair; last year stall bookings started late, so start early this time; I'll post the volunteers list on the WhatsApp group; the next meeting is on the third at 7 pm.

FAQ
Hindi community meetings, answered.
How long does a Hindi meeting take to transcribe?
Roughly 2 minutes for each hour of audio: a 90-minute committee meeting in about 3 minutes, a 2-hour meeting in about 4.
Will the transcript be in Devanagari?
Hindi speech normally comes back in Devanagari script, and English words that people say inside it usually stay in Latin letters, the way the sample above shows. Read the free first 20 minutes to see how your committee comes out.
What does a festival season cost?
Five 90-minute meetings, 450 minutes, use the $6 pack of 500. Twelve 2-hour monthly meetings, 1,440 minutes, use the $12 pack of 2,000. Packs are one-time purchases in USD and the credits never expire.
Our meeting was recorded on three phones. Which one do I send?
Send the clearest one, usually the phone nearest the speakers. Each recording is transcribed on its own; there is no need to merge them first. If one phone sat by the chair and another by the treasurer, start with the chair's; a second recording can be transcribed later if one passage is hard to hear, and it uses only its own length in minutes.
Does someone have to join our call?
No. Nothing joins your Zoom or your meeting; you upload the recording afterwards, once the meeting is over. A single recording may last up to 10 hours or weigh up to 5 GB, so even a long annual general meeting with a break in the middle stays as one file. Before the first pack, uploads can be up to 2 GB.
Is the recording kept private?
Yes. Committee meetings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. You download TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON.
