Transcribe Case CATalyst audio sync recordings a searchable second record of the day.
The audio a Case CATalyst session synced can be copied out and uploaded here, and a seven-hour day is searchable text in about 14 minutes. Those 420 minutes fit the $18 pack of 3,000 minutes, and the opening minutes of a first upload are free.
From synced audio to a working text
The steno is the record. The audio is there to check it, and finding the right minute in seven hours is slow.
Where the audio sits
Case CATalyst can record audio while you write and keep it with the job; the file usually sits in or beside the case's job folder, and its format depends on your audio settings. Copy the file rather than moving it, so the sync in your steno software is not disturbed.
Uploading a long session
A file up to 500 MB uploads in the box above; a full-day WAV is often bigger and continues on the main upload page, which accepts up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Uploads go up to 5 GB per file, and a larger file can be split or exported as audio.
A month of sessions
One seven-hour day is 420 minutes of the $18 pack of 3,000 minutes. Packs start at $4 for 300 minutes. Credits never expire between busy and quiet months.
What it is for, and what it is not
Use the text to search the audio by word, jump to a timestamp, and list the names, exhibit numbers and dates spoken. It is an AI transcript for working from, not a certified transcript and not legal advice; your own record stays the official one.

FAQ
Case CATalyst audio, answered.
How long does a seven-hour session file take?
About 14 minutes after the upload finishes, at roughly 2 minutes per audio hour. A half-day of three and a half hours takes about 7.
Does WhipScribe connect to Case CATalyst?
No. There is no integration, plugin or sync with Case CATalyst or Stenograph software. Copy the audio file out of the job, then upload it.
Which audio format will I find?
That depends on your audio settings. Common audio formats upload as they are; if the box refuses the file, convert a copy to MP3 or WAV first.
Can the text replace my steno record?
No. Your own record stays the official one; use the text to find a passage fast and to check how a name was spelled out loud.
How do the packs cover a busy month?
Six seven-hour days are 2,520 minutes, on the $18 pack of 3,000 minutes. A lighter month of four days, 1,680 minutes, fits the $18 pack of 3,000. One day alone uses 420 minutes of the $18 pack of 3,000 minutes.
Where is the audio processed?
Session audio is transcribed on our own servers and is never used for training. Check that sharing the audio is allowed for your job before you upload it.
