Cube ACR · Android calls · upload the audio

Transcribe Cube ACR call recordings straight from the Android phone.

Cube ACR records calls on Android and saves each one as an audio file on the phone, which you upload here as it is. A 75-minute call is transcribed in about 2 and a half minutes, the first 20 minutes are free, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers the rest with 425 minutes left over.

Packs from $6, credits never expire · then from $0.36/hour · Credits never expire · Never used to train AI

Cube ACR to text

The app keeps the calls. This page turns them into something you can read.

Find the file

Cube ACR keeps a list of recordings inside the app, and most entries can be shared straight to a browser upload or to a Files app. The storage folder and audio format are set in the app's own settings, so check there if you want to find the files in a file manager.

Upload from the phone

Open this page in Chrome on the same Android phone, tap the upload box and pick the recording from the folder or the share sheet. Nothing has to be converted first; if the upload refuses a file, convert it to MP3 first.

Why size never bites

Call audio is compressed hard. At 64 kbps an hour of call is 28.8 MB (64,000 bits a second times 3,600 seconds, divided by 8). That is past the 25 MB the OpenAI Whisper API accepts per upload, but tiny against the 5 GB and 10 hours one file may hold here.

A month of calls, priced

Forty calls of 30 minutes in a month come to 1,200 minutes. That is more than 500, so the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes fits, leaving 800 minutes for the following month.

Why recorded calls go unused

Recording every call is easy. Using any of them is not.

✗ Hundreds of call files

Auto-recording fills a folder with files named by contact and time. The one call that matters is in there somewhere, but only by ear.

  • Files named by contact and timestamp
  • No way to search inside a call
  • Long calls cut off by other tools
  • Promises remembered differently later
  • Replaying at double speed on a small screen
  • Typing up the key points by hand

✓ Calls you can search

Each call becomes text with a brief, chapters and the details spoken, and a 75-minute call takes less time to transcribe than to make a coffee.

  • Upload straight from the phone
  • Caller and recipient named in the summary
  • Agreed amounts and dates listed
  • Timestamps to jump back into the audio
  • Ask the transcript what was promised
  • Copy the agreed points into a message

00:05:30 The quote covers the kitchen and the hallway. The bathroom would be a separate job.
00:29:14 If we add the bathroom now, does the start date move?
00:52:47 It moves by a week. We would start on the third instead of the twenty-seventh.
01:10:05 Fine. Send the revised quote tonight and I will confirm tomorrow morning.

FAQ

Cube ACR recordings, answered.

How long does one Cube ACR call take to transcribe?

About 2 minutes per hour of audio, so a 75-minute call takes around 2 and a half minutes and a short 10-minute call only seconds.

What does a 75-minute call cost?

Seventy-five minutes of credit. The first 20 minutes are free for a first-time visitor, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes transcribes the rest from where the preview ended, leaving 425 minutes.

Is it legal to record my calls?

That depends on where you and the other person are. Recording a call needs the consent the law there requires, so check it and tell the other side when in doubt.

Can I upload several calls at once?

Upload them one after another; each call becomes its own transcript in your Library. Each file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB, and a call longer than 10 hours is split into two files first.

Does it understand calls in Tagalog, Korean or Afrikaans?

Yes. 99 languages are detected automatically, and English and Tagalog switches within one call are handled. Calls in Cebuano or another regional Philippine language come back as a fast first draft; plan one review pass.

What do I download, and who sees the call?

You can take the call away as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and deleting the call removes the recording and its transcript from your account.
