Sharing the file

Where the app keeps files on the phone depends on its settings, so check there if you are looking in a file manager.
M4A or WAV, in megabytes
AAC in an M4A at 128 kbps works out to 57.6 MB an hour, about 173 MB for three hours. A 16-bit, 44.1 kHz mono WAV runs about 318 MB an hour, close to 950 MB for the same lecture. Both are well inside the 2 GB that uploads before a pack.

Ten 3-hour lectures are 1,800 minutes, which fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes with 200 to spare. One lecture alone is 180 minutes on the $6 pack, leaving 320 minutes for the next.
Notes for revision
The lecture returns with a brief, chapters per topic and the figures and dates the lecturer gave. Ask the chat which examples were used for a concept and it answers with the time they were given. FAQ
Easy Voice Recorder files, the common questions.
How long does a 3-hour recording take?
About 6 minutes, at about 2 minutes per audio hour. The proof page lists a 2.48-hour run that took 200 seconds.
What does a lecture cost, and a course?
A first visit includes the first 20 minutes free; a longer lecture is previewed and a pack from $6 transcribes the rest from that point. One 3-hour lecture uses 180 of the $6 pack's 500 minutes; a course of ten is 1,800 minutes on the $12 pack, at $0.36 an audio hour.
Should I record in M4A or WAV?
M4A keeps the file small and transcribes just as well. WAV is several times larger; at 16-bit, 44.1 kHz mono it is about 318 MB an hour, still fine for a lecture.
The app saved the lecture in two files. Can it still be one transcript?
Upload both, or join them in an audio editor first for a single transcript. The ceiling per upload is 10 hours or 5 GB.
Can I record meetings and phone calls with it?
Only with the consent the law where you are requires from everyone recorded. The lecture language is detected automatically from 99 supported.
Which formats come back, and is my audio kept private?
Pick TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON for each lecture. Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training, and each lecture can be deleted along with its text.
