Transcribe long Mirrativ stream recordings your game commentary, as text.
A Mirrativ game stream transcribes from the screen recording on your phone or the file your capture setup saved, uploaded here, and a 90-minute stream is text in about 3 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free for a new visitor, and five 90-minute streams (450 minutes) fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes.
From the phone to the page
Mirrativ streams are you talking over a game, which is exactly the part worth keeping.
Recording the stream
Mirrativ streams straight from a phone, so the usual copy is the phone's own screen recording, started before you go live, or a capture card recording if you stream from a console setup. The file is usually an MP4 in the phone's gallery or video folder; check your phone's screen recorder settings, including whether it records the microphone as well as game sound.
Screen recordings get heavy
Phone screen recordings are large. At around 8 Mbps, 90 minutes is 5.4 GB (8,000,000 bits a second × 5,400 seconds ÷ 8), over the 5 GB a single file may hold. The words only need the sound, so trim the video or save its audio as an MP3 first. This page's upload box takes files up to 500 MB; anything bigger carries on at the main upload page.
Streams on a pack
One 90-minute stream is 90 minutes of credit. Five of them use 450 of the $6 pack of 500. Streaming 90 minutes on 20 evenings in a month is 1,800 minutes, which fits the $12 pack of 2,000 with 200 to spare. A daily habit of 3 hours, 90 hours across a month, is 5,400 minutes and needs two packs: the $24 pack of 5,000 plus the $6 pack.
What the text is good for
The brief lists what you promised viewers, the chapters split the stream by match or topic, and the chat finds the moment a viewer asked about your settings. Use SRT on a highlight clip, or post a short written recap for viewers who were busy. Streamers who talk through their thinking get a written record of what worked, match by match. Game music and sound effects are not transcribed; your commentary is.

FAQ
Mirrativ recordings, answered.
Can I paste my Mirrativ link?
Mirrativ links are not read directly. Upload the screen recording, or paste a YouTube, Twitch or Kick link if you also streamed the same session there. A Google Drive share link to the recording works too.
How long does a 90-minute stream take?
About 3 minutes, since processing runs at around 2 minutes per audio hour. Getting a heavy phone recording onto the site may take longer than that, which is one more reason to send just the audio.
What does the first stream cost?
On a first visit, the first 20 minutes are free. A longer stream is previewed, and a pack from $6 transcribes the rest from where the preview ended. A single 90-minute stream leaves 410 minutes of the $6 pack of 500 for later streams.
Is there a size or length cap?
One file can be up to 10 hours or 5 GB. Before the first pack, uploads go up to 2 GB, and a stream recording over 6 hours starts once a pack is on the account. Anything past 10 hours goes in as two files.
Will game sound confuse it?
Music, sound effects and gunfire are not transcribed; speech is. If the game is very loud under your voice, some words can be missed, so a mic balance that favours your voice helps. Japanese is detected automatically, with English game terms kept as said.
Who can see my stream?
Recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training. There is no Mirrativ integration and no bot in your stream; WhipScribe only sees the file you upload. Exports: TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON.
