Transcribe long SHOWROOM live recordings every word of the show, in Japanese.
A SHOWROOM live show transcribes from the recording you keep of your own broadcast, uploaded here, and a 2-hour show comes back as Japanese text in about 4 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free on a first visit, and four 2-hour shows (480 minutes) fit the $6 pack of 500 minutes.
From the room to the page
A SHOWROOM show is mostly talk to the room, and talk is what turns into useful text.
Where the file comes from
SHOWROOM is built for watching live, so the copy you transcribe is usually the one you made yourself: the file OBS or another streaming app saved on your computer while you broadcast, or a screen recording from the phone you streamed on. Check the recording settings for the format; it is often an MP4 or MKV. Only use recordings of your own shows or ones you have the rights to.
Hours of chatting, organised
A long show drifts: greetings to regulars, answers to comments, a song break, news about the next event. The brief pulls out what you announced, the chapters mark each change of topic with a timestamp, and the chat over the transcript finds the moment you mentioned a date. Songs and background music are not transcribed; the talking is.
A month of shows, priced
One 2-hour show is 120 minutes. Four of them use 480 of the $6 pack of 500. Three shows a week for a month, about 13 shows, come to 1,560 minutes, which fits the $12 pack of 2,000. Streaming 2 hours every night for 30 nights is 3,600 minutes, so that month belongs on the $24 pack of 5,000, with 1,400 left over.
Big files and long nights
One file can hold up to 10 hours or 5 GB. The upload box here takes files up to 500 MB, and a larger file carries on at the main upload page. Before your first pack, uploads go up to 2 GB, and a stream recording over 6 hours starts once a pack is on the account. A screen recording is heavy; saving just the audio as an MP3 keeps it small.

FAQ
SHOWROOM recordings, the usual questions.
Can I paste a SHOWROOM link?
No. SHOWROOM pages are not read by link. Upload the recording you saved, or paste a YouTube link if the same show also went out there. The link types read directly are YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch, Kick, Google Drive and podcast or RSS feeds.
How long does a 2-hour show take?
About 4 minutes, at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio. A published run on /proof/long-files shows 9.31 hours finished in 1,033 seconds. Sending a large video over home Wi-Fi can take longer than the transcription itself.
What does it cost to try?
A first-time visitor gets the first 20 minutes free. A show of 20 minutes or less transcribes in full; a longer one is previewed, and a pack from $6 transcribes the rest from where the preview stopped. Packs are one-time and the credits do not expire.
My recording is a 3 GB video. Will it go?
Yes, once a pack is on the account, since a file over 2 GB starts after the first pack. Files can run to 10 hours or 5 GB. Exporting only the audio as an MP3 shrinks a 2-hour show to well under 200 MB.
Does it cope with Japanese and English mixed together?
Yes. The language is detected automatically from 99, a show that switches between Japanese and English is detected on its main language, and English words inside Japanese speech come through as said.
Is my show kept or used for anything else?
Your recordings are transcribed on our own servers and never used for training. WhipScribe has no connection to SHOWROOM and no bot inside it; it only works on the file you send. Downloads come as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON.
