Transcribe long Patreon bonus episodes and the patron calls too.
A long Patreon bonus episode or recorded patron call is transcribed from the audio or video file the creator posted, usually an MP3 or MP4 still on the creator's computer, and a 90-minute episode is text in about 3 minutes. The first 20 minutes are free, and the $6 pack of 500 minutes covers a month of four 90-minute bonus episodes with 140 minutes over.
For creators on Patreon
Patrons pay for the extra hours. A transcript lets them read those hours too.
Start from your own file
The audio you attached to a Patreon post began as an export on your computer, and that original is the cleanest copy to upload. Some creator pages give each patron a personal feed for podcast apps; that address belongs to one patron, so it is not the link to use here.
Recorded patron calls and Q&As
Monthly hangouts, live Q&As and workshops for patrons often run two hours or more, recorded on Zoom or another meeting tool. Download that recording, usually an MP4, and upload it; files up to 2 GB go in before a pack, and larger ones once a pack is on the account.
Turn bonus audio into posts
The brief, chapters and key quotes give you a written post for patrons who prefer reading, a teaser for the public page and searchable text for the back catalogue. Co-hosts are named in the summary, quotes and chapters, so the best line keeps its owner.
The archive on one pack
Two years of monthly 90-minute bonus episodes is 24 files and 2,160 minutes, which sits on the $24 pack of 5,000 with 2,840 left. Credits never expire, so the remainder waits for next month's episode.
Why bonus content gets overlooked
The bonus episode is the reason patrons stay. Most of them never get through it.
✗ Audio only, behind the paywall
Patrons who read rather than listen get little from an hour-long audio post.
- No text version for deaf or busy patrons
- Patron questions answered once, then lost
- Post descriptions written in a hurry
- Call recordings nobody rewatches
- No way to find which episode covered what
- A back catalogue patrons cannot search
✓ Every bonus as text
Each episode and call comes back with a brief, chapters and quotes ready for a post.
- Bonus episodes back in about 3 minutes
- First 20 minutes free to try one episode
- Patron questions listed with their answers
- Co-host named in the brief and quotes
- A month of bonuses on one $6 pack
- DOCX to attach for patrons who read

FAQ
Patreon episodes, the common questions.
How long does a 90-minute bonus episode take?
About 3 minutes, because the pace is roughly 2 minutes per audio hour. A two-hour patron call takes about 4.
What does a month of patron content cost?
Four 90-minute bonus episodes are 360 minutes on the $6 pack of 500. Add a 2-hour patron call and the month is 480 minutes, still inside that pack. A quarter of that schedule is 1,440 minutes, on the $12 pack of 2,000.
Can a patron transcribe an episode they paid for?
Transcribe only what you made or have the right to use. A patron's personal feed is for listening; a patron who wants a transcript can ask the creator, who can upload the original file here.
How big are the files, and is there a limit?
A 90-minute MP3 at 128 kbps is about 86 MB (128,000 × 5,400 seconds ÷ 8). Every file may be up to 10 hours or 5 GB; uploads before the first pack stop at 2 GB. A call that ran past 10 hours would go in as two files.
Our community speaks several languages. Is that handled?
The language is detected automatically from 99, including Tagalog, Portuguese and Zulu. A recording that switches language is detected on its main language and the switches are handled. Intro music is left out.
Which exports are there, and is patron-only audio kept private?
Bonus episodes export as TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT and JSON. Patron-only episodes are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
