2 to 4 hour episodes · RSS or episode link · chapters with timestamps

Transcribe a long-form podcast episode by episode.

Long-form shows run two, three, sometimes four hours, and most transcription tools stop well short of that. Paste the episode link or your feed below and the whole conversation comes back as one transcript with chapters, at about 2 minutes per hour of audio. The first 20 minutes are free, and packs start at $6.

Packs from $6, credits never expire · then from $0.36/hour · Credits never expire · Never used to train AI

For shows that take their time

Built around the length of your show, not a meeting.

Send the feed, not the file

If your show is published, you already have a link. Paste the RSS feed or an episode page and we fetch the audio directly, so a 4-hour episode never touches your upload bandwidth. Files still work too: a local master goes up through the upload page, up to 5 GB.

Chapters you did not cue

Long conversations wander, and that is the point of them. Each episode comes back divided into chapters with a timestamp and a heading, so a listener who wants the part about the second business can jump to it, and you can paste the list straight into your podcast host.

A season on one pack

A 3-hour weekly episode is 180 minutes. The $12 pack (2,000 minutes) covers about eleven of those, which is most of a quarter. A show that runs two hours fits sixteen episodes in the same pack. There is no subscription and unused minutes stay on the account.

The guest, in their own words

Guests are identified and named in the summary, key quotes and chapters. When you need the exact sentence a guest used about their first company, ask the chat over the transcript and it points you to the timestamp where they said it.

The long-form problem

Why long shows go untranscribed, and what changes.

✗ Tools built for 30 minutes

Most tools cap a file at an hour or two, so a long-form show has to be cut up, or skipped.

  • Episodes refused for running past a length cap
  • Exports split into parts with restarting clocks
  • Feed links not accepted, so every file is downloaded first
  • No chapters, so listeners scrub a 4-hour player
  • A monthly fee for a show that publishes weekly
  • Back episodes left without any text at all

✓ The whole episode as one document

Each episode is one job, sent by link, and returns as one transcript with its own chapters and brief.

  • One episode per job, up to 10 hours
  • Feed or episode link, no download step
  • Chapters with timestamps for the show page
  • A brief with thesis and takeaways
  • Packs bought once, minutes kept between seasons
  • Episode text in TXT or DOCX, captions in SRT or VTT

00:03:30 I want to start somewhere strange. Before we talk about the book, tell me about the summer you spent driving a delivery van.
01:22:14 People hear the number and assume it was luck. It was four hundred cold emails, and I kept every reply in a spreadsheet.
02:36:48 We have been going for two and a half hours and I still have half my questions. Do you have time for the lightning round?
03:31:02 Honestly the best advice I got was boring. Sleep, write every morning, and don't read your reviews for the first month.

FAQ

Long-form podcast questions.

How quickly does a 4-hour episode come back?

About eight minutes, since processing runs at roughly 2 minutes per hour of audio. With a feed or episode link there is no upload to wait for first.

What does a season of long episodes cost?

Count the minutes. Twelve episodes of 3 hours is 2,160 minutes, just past the $12 pack (2,000 minutes), so the $24 pack (5,000 minutes) is the one to buy, and it leaves about 2,800 minutes for the next season. A single episode of 2 to 4 hours fits inside the $6 pack (500 minutes).

Is there a length or size limit per episode?

An episode file can run to 10 hours or 5 GB, whichever it reaches first. A file over 2 GB starts once a pack is on the account; a link has no upload size to worry about.

Do I split a four-hour episode before sending it?

No. Keep it whole. The transcript keeps one timeline, so the chapter timestamps line up with the published episode. An episode over 10 hours is the only case that needs two files.

My show is not in English. Does that work?

Yes. The language is detected automatically across 99 languages, so a Spanish, Hindi or German episode needs no setting.

What do I get to download, and is my audio used for anything else?

TXT and DOCX for the text, SRT and VTT for captions, JSON for your own tools. Unpublished episodes are safe to send: recordings are transcribed on our own servers and are never used for training.
