Transcribe Pixel Watch recordings from the Recorder app on your Pixel.
A Pixel Watch recording syncs to the Recorder app on the paired Pixel phone, and from there you can share the audio file and upload it here, up to 10 hours or 5 GB; a 2-hour recording is text in about 4 minutes. That recording uses 120 minutes, inside the $6 pack of 500 minutes once the first 20 free minutes are spent.
From the watch to a document
The watch hands the recording to the phone; the phone hands the file to WhipScribe.
Sharing out of Recorder
Open the synced recording in the Recorder app on the Pixel phone and use the share option, choosing to share the audio file rather than a link or text. Save it to Google Drive and paste the share link on upload page, or pick it straight from the phone's storage in the browser. The audio is usually an M4A; check the shared file's name if it matters.
Long sessions on a watch
A watch is convenient for a site walk or a long talk, but its battery and storage set how long one recording can go. For anything over a couple of hours, start with a full charge, or record on the phone itself. Synced files then upload like any other phone recording.
Ten site walks, priced
Ten 2-hour site walks come to 1,200 minutes, which goes beyond the $6 pack of 500 minutes and fits the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes with 800 left. One walk of 120 minutes costs a quarter of the $6 pack's minutes, at $0.72 an audio hour.
Notes from a walk-through
The recording returns with a brief of the findings, chapters at each room or stop, and the measurements, dates and names said along the way. Ask the chat which issues were found on the second floor and it lists them with timestamps. Anyone walking with you is named in the summary and key quotes.
Recordings from the wrist
Two hours recorded on a watch during a site walk are only useful once they are a list.

FAQ
Pixel Watch recordings, answered.
How long does a 2-hour Pixel Watch recording take?
About 4 minutes. Speed is roughly 2 minutes per audio hour, so a 30-minute recording is back in about a minute; the proof page shows 9.31 hours processed in 1,033 seconds.
Does WhipScribe connect to the Recorder app?
No. There is no integration with Recorder or the watch, and nothing to install. Share the audio file from Recorder on the phone, then upload it or paste a Drive link.
What do the recordings cost?
A first visit includes the first 20 minutes free, and a longer recording is previewed before you buy; a pack from $6 then transcribes the rest from where the preview ended. Ten 2-hour walks, 1,200 minutes, fit the $12 pack of 2,000 minutes, and credits never expire.
How big can a synced recording be?
Not at M4A sizes, where two hours are only about 115 MB. For any file, the ceiling is 10 hours or 5 GB, and a file over 2 GB starts once a pack is on the account.
Can I record conversations with other people on the watch?
With their agreement, and with the consent the law where you are requires. The spoken language is detected automatically from 99, and a recording that switches language is detected on its main one.
Which exports can I download, and is the recording private?
Pick TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT or JSON for the walk. A site walk is transcribed on our own servers and never used for training, and deleting it from your Library removes the transcript too.
